BTW, this picture has nothing to do with the Blog.
As I’m sitting here writing this blog, please keep in mind that it’s Tuesday midnight (technically Wednesday) and I am sitting at a bar. Yes, at a bar. With my laptop. At a bar. I do apologize ahead of time for being tipsy as I’m writing this blog. I had a drink called Citrine Sunrise at Café-Presse—which I believe is French inspired (I came to this conclusion since everything on the menu is ridiculously hard for me to pronounce) and the drink was a little too heavy on the alcohol side. Not that I’m complaining cause I am getting more for the alcohol than what I paid for, but seriously I've never gotten this tipsy just from a sip before. Anyways, moving forward!
For today’s outfit I decided to throw on a floral white baby doll top, scalloped navy blue shorts, blush pink ankle strap flats, and I borrowed my mom’s knitted cardigan. I twisted my hair into 4 sections straight out of the shower, and the unraveling dry results were hydrated, luscious beachy waves. As for my makeup, as always I have on a simple winged liner, mascara, blush and lipstick. It’s about 50 something degrees outside right now but thank goodness the alcohol is keeping me warm.
It wasn't in my intentions to hang out all this week but I love the spontaneity of tonight. My friend and I just decided to take a Web development course with complete strangers, grab some Thai food because website development was a complete fail, and we ended up here at this Bar because we thought it was a cafe (Hence the name of this place is Cafe Presse).
There is no lesson in this blog today. Actually, there is! Always, always, always do your research when it comes to taking free courses. Or another example is when you simply want to grab coffee at a shop, make sure they serve coffee, not alcohol, even if they’re advertised as Cafe Presse (I’m just giving this place shit cause I’m tipsy, but no this place is actually amazing! The barista is great, drink is amazing, and the atmosphere is off the wall.). The other lesson is sometimes things may not go as planned causing you to be unhappy, upset or dissatisfied; however I just want you to know that the feeling is only temporary. I believe that everything happens for a reason and I’m glad that things turned out the way they did tonight. My friend and I have been working really hard these past couple weeks so this is the Universe’s way of saying “HEY! YOU LOOK LIKE YOU NEED A BREAK!”
Again I’m sorry for the tipsy blog. I apologize if my grammar is off or if this blog doesn’t make sense at all. Last but not least I want to apologize to Cafe Presse in case they don’t know that I’m only joking. Well that is all for tonight My Little Valentines! Dream big! Drink responsibly! Chase after your dreams! I’m definitely going to regret this when I wake up sober.
Yours Truly, Rita Valentine
