Daily MCO Drink #518, MCO Day #520: COCOMATANG, made with 1 part Matang Artisanal Tuak from @atasspeakeasy, 1 part Absolut Elyx Vodka, shaken over ice with 2 slices muddled ginger, strained over fresh ice and topped up with 3 parts fresh coconut water and a splash of soda. More experimenting with tuak! When Atas sent it to me, it cane with a can of ginger ale and instructions to have the tuak with it. However, I’m not a big fan of ginger ale (too seeet for me). so I decided to make up my own drink with ginger and coconut water. At first I only used 2 parts of tuak, but the flavours of Matang were a bit too overpowering and I couldn’t taste the coconut. So I cut it to one, and added a shot of vodka for a bit more oomph.
