There are things that she keeps hidden from everyone, even in the age where she got married he didn’t know most of the things that she had done in her past ( and she didn’t wish to tell him, so she never did ). They met when they were children (before Elgara learnt how to use blood magic ), and they were friends until she escaped the village. His parents were not devout like her mother was so he was never meant to join any of the temples. They met from time to time when Elgara would return to the village for the parties that they used to host in favour of Elgar’nan. It was in one of those parties that a one night stand made her want to return more often to the village, eventually staying definitely and leaving all her mercenary work behind.

Yes, but she doesn’t fool herself and she knows that he would not choose her again and she wouldn’t blame him.
