“Va a ser una larga espera Hasta que llegue la primavera Aunque de frio voy tiritando Yo me sigo calentando.”

ARGENTINA Pintura Fresca - Tiritando (1969)
I don't actually own Pintura Fresca's self-titled LP, but it's on my wish list. The record is nearly impossible to find (and, as a result, probably very expensive). Pintura Fresca (which means Fresh Paint in Spanish) was known for covering other artist's work in a style influenced by late 60's American pop groups. In fact, this song is a cover of a popular song by Donald released two years earlier. Donald's version is sung in Spanish, while Pintura Fresca's is a poor English translation (not much information about the band is out there, but from the sounds of it the song is sung in English and Spanish). They appeared on various TV shows and films in Argentina, but abruptly disbanded after a car crash in 1970 killed three members of the group.
