Fibula from Tiss to Sha'arnez
i’ll admit right away, i definitely can’t decide which flower reminds me more of the fibula tiss gave: the iris or the calla. so let’s look at the meaning of each flower. the fibula itself is made in the art nouveau style, and yes, i won’t discuss the meaning of its giving — tiss herself said it was a gesture of gratitude, a gift without obligations.
the iris speaks the language of understanding and inner sight. its meaning comes from the image of iris — the messenger between worlds — which is why this flower has long symbolized a connection that arises not through words, but through recognition. the iris is faith that requires no confirmation; calm and steady hope; wisdom that comes with a clear, honest gaze. it carries restrained strength and noble straightforwardness: it stands without bowing, preserving respect, trust, and subtle emotional awareness. the iris carries memory, not as pain, but as quiet gratitude for what was true and meaningful. it feels like truth spoken without a voice, like the moment when you are seen fully — without any attempt to change or hold you. the iris seems to whisper: “i see you, i understand you, and it is enough that what exists between us exists.”
the calla speaks a different language — deep, almost ritualistic. its beauty is strict and deliberate: there is no superfluous gesture in it. this is why callas became symbols of purity, not as innocence, but as a decision made once and for all. in them is unwavering loyalty and a love resembling a silent vow. callas equally belong to beginnings and farewells, weddings and final journeys: they embody the idea of transition and continuation — that which does not disappear, but changes form. within them lives tension and restrained passion, a closeness that does not rush toward touch, but remains near with intent. the calla seems to say: “i choose you fully, with reverence, and i stay in that choice.”
if we combine the two flowers and arrive at a unified meaning, understanding meets devotion, inner sight meets conscious choice. this is how a story of connection is born, in which one soul is truly seen and recognized — and yet chosen, without doubt. together, they speak of quiet and profound love, sensitive and sacred, strong in its restraint and enduring, because it needs no proof.
эта сцена покорила моё сердечко и я не могла не нарисовать её 🙏

Noya
again with the scrapped MID OCs, Noya was supposed to be Leif’s niece. In the (my) storyline, Leif had been one of Asch’s knights for 8 years, and when he left- or got left- Noya was 5. When the group returned latter to the clan with Ava to hide, Noya was 13.
again, unoriginal me, I inverted Tiss’s power, and gave Noya the magic to create uncannily good illusions. No potions involved, and she could one thing look like a completely different thing. Using a lot of energy, she was even learning to make the illusions solid, something that (I decided) other Daemos couldn’t do.
She was a spunky kid, and like how people say that each MID character has their counterpart in the other plane (Mrs. Oats and Lady Grandma, Rhal and Lorali’s boyfriend what’s-his-name), Noya’s “counterpart” was supposed to be Marleen. Noya was mature and slightly murderess, but she didn’t enjoy torture. She knew the “thrill of the kill” but liked more so the chase than the actual ending of lives. Nevertheless she was an assassin. And unlike Leif she did a lot of cleaning. Physical description under the cut. Leif and Tiss would also call Noya “Noyari.”
