Struggling with readings? No problem!
It's totally valid and normal to struggle with reading textbooks! I definitely have. Here are some tips that improved my speed and note-taking skills.
- skim the titles, headings, introduction and summary of the text before properly reading it
- read chunks of text and then take notes (our brains aren't made to multitask. Plus, this tests you on how much you remember from each chunk!)
- read your course objectives and assessment information. Know what is being expected of you
- skim read most of the text. slow down when you find something relevant
- set aside an appropriate amount of time for readings
- be self-compassionate. Readings can be tricky!
- write down any questions which arise while reading
- split the reading into sections among classmates and teach each other the parts that you read.
- gamify the process by tracking your time spent reading, amount of pages read etc.
- find an audio book version of your textbook
You're a silly worm! Eat those pages! You've got this!!!
an eminent curator called one derivative, but it turns out in 1953 Cy Twombly and Robert Rauschenberg both made works of clear boxes filled with tissues, and while it's obvious whose was bigger, it's not clear who came first
MY FREIND JUS SENT ME TISSUE PAPER YAOI,
WTF, IM NEVER USING A TISSUE PAPER AGAIN
Jack-o-lantern jars!!
Battery tea lights, tissue paper, pencils, and ribbon. You can't really tell that they're pumpkins from outside, but I know and that's what matters
Dug up this old mixed media art from when I was probably about 17. To my knowledge it's tissue paper and modpodge with a little white-out.
I think it looks kinda goofy but I still like it so I'm breaking my hiatus with a blast from the past. The noble Moth-Dragon :^)
I'm not readdyyy plssss 😭😭😭 not my fav couple, I'm not ready for it to be animateddd
