TRAINING CENTER - TUESDAY- SHELTER, ROUND 1

LOCATION: TRAINING CENTER

TIME: ROUND 1

Felix finished at the Rope Course, feeling renewed and refreshed. He was beginning to feel like himself again, completing tasks he completed every day back home at 6. He was going to his last task before Round 1 was over, and he was having a little bit of a difficult time figuring out where to go. He thought, “What are some skills I have?”  He could repair power lines….. He had been to knot tying. He could climb…… he had been to the Rope course and the Climbing stations. He could always find shelter underground for the night………… BINGO!

Felix made his way over to the Shelter Training station, and as usual was briefed on how to do the specific skill he was going to be training in. The precautions, what his objectives were, and the like. He started with a slab of rock, propping it up on a wall and covering the sides with vines. It looked pretty decent from where he was standing, but from the look on the Experts face, he had a lot of work to do. Which was fine, he was used to finding shelter in underground subways, it would take a little adjusting before he got this right.

TRAINING CENTER - TUESDAY- KNOT TYING, ROUND 1

LOCATION: Training Center, Knot Tying Station

TIME: Round 1

The tributes were in a line, by District, waiting to be allowed into the Training Center. The air was thick with anticipation, and Felix was nervous. All of these kids had certain skills, and it made him nervous that he didn't know them. His thoughts stopped when they were allowed into the Training Center. Felix looked around; taking in all of the skills and places he could train. Edible plants, Swords Training, Climbing, Knives, Archery…………. He was so tempted to pick up the bow and shoot a straight bull’s eye, but Marius appeared in his head. “Don’t show them your skills, only in the private session” He cursed Marius before finally walking over to knot tying. The instructor handed him a piece of sting, and they started off with simple knots he had been using his whole life. They then began to move to trickier things and Felix was incredibly stumped, but his fingers kept moving. It was better to fail and keep trying then to fail and give up.
