Classpect? Internally I'm pretty pessimistic and cynical on how I view the world since most faith in humanity is gone. But people see me as optimistic and happy a lot. I'm True Neutral and I'm stoic sometimes. I struggle with inner turmoil and morality sometimes since I want to help save life andyet destroy all of humanity. I get disgruntled when I see my class get tooo rowdy and I want to get rid of that extra energy but I'm too passive to tell em and I love some fun and rulebreaking sometimes

This is one of the few classpect requests I’ve gotten that immediately stands out to me as a Prince.  Not just because you included the word “destroy,” but for the intensity of emotion and conflict in this ask.  I’m using @2claspect4this‘s definition of a Prince from here:

Princes are active destroyers. The crucial thing to understand about them as characters is that their ideal state is The Unfettered: somebody who ruthlessly punches past any and all opposition to a cardinal goal to which all other goals are secondary. This core goal is not always destruction in and of itself; in fact, a pretty common theme among the desires of Princes is creation. FMA:B’s Roy Mustang and Paranatural’s Forge are among the Princes that seek to instate order at all costs.

As for aspect, I think you’re somewhere on the Life/Doom dichotomy.  

Arguments for being a Prince of Life:

want to get rid of your classmates’ extra energy (where Life = energy)

want to destroy humanity (where your faith in humanity has been destroyed by people being ambitious, greedy, resource-hoarding, etc Life traits)

Arguments for being a Prince of Doom:

appear to be happy and optimistic even though you’re actually cynical (Princes tend to appear as their opposite aspect) 

want to destroy humanity (where “humanity” is contrasted against “life,” and your faith in humanity has been destroyed by people being cruel to each other for no good reasons other than human faults like spite or stupidity or ignorance, and the fact that you’re trapped in with the rest of them)

Personally I think the information given in this ask fits a Prince of Doom better than a Prince of Life, but not knowing the specifics of your situation and beliefs, I thought it’d be best to lay them both out. 

If neither of these seems to fit you, you could also try looking at which aspect you consider the most personally antagonistic to you in your life, and try out being a Prince of that aspect.

Hi! Can you help figure out a classpect 4 someone? She’s kind of a daydreamer, likes 2 tell jokes/anecdotes/making people laugh in general and listening 2 music, is pretty smart and really interested in genetics/psychology, is always the one who tries 2 make her friends feel better (may or may not be kinda bad @ this) but still has a fighting streak, is really scared of being a burden and tries 2 help other ppl as best she can cuz of this, especially through providing information. I’m thinking Maid, Mage, or Rogue of Light?

Um, I am somewhat certain that I am a Mage of Void. Although I'm not entirely sure about it because apparently I could also be a Seer. So I would like to get an opinion from another source. I act quiet around most people and prefer to listen but sometimes I am spontaneous because I feel like it. I am misunderstood by a lot of people. I love secrets and hate when people keep things from me. I see myself as pretty intelligent and I am future-orientated. I like to plan things out.

Though it’s impossible for me to confirm based on this ask alone, this description of you sounds more like a Seer than a Mage to me.  Hating secrets kept from you (seeking/demanding their knowledge), being future-oriented, and planning sound like Seer traits.  Seers are proactive; Mages are less likely to plan and more likely to react to current events instead.

The biggest difference I see between the Seer class and the Mage class is that Seers are more likely to proactively keep their team out of trouble, while Mages reactively get their team out of trouble.  I don’t know which one of these best applies to you.

Okay, so I definitely think I'm a Seer of Void, and I'm very happy with my choice of aspect. I love art and using it to help/inspire others, yet at the same time I'm struggling with major mental disorders that prevent me from that often. I'm pretty reserved, and I like to solve problems by talking things through. Does that sound accurate? Also, the most important person in my life is a Witch of Light who ascends with me. Would that mess me up or help me due to inversion theory?

While I can’t guarantee accuracy based on this ask alone, I don’t see any mismatches between your described personality traits and your current title. I’ll just be looking at class since you said you’re confident in your aspect.

That you solve problems by talking through them indicates that you’re thoughtful rather than instinctive, which I can definitely see as part of a Seer’s personality. Wanting to indirectly help and/or inspire people through your art also fits a passive class.

To confirm your class, though, I’d like to see more about what exactly you help/inspire people to do. Seers know their aspect, but they also guide their teammates by issuing instructions that the teammates wouldn’t have known on their own, since they don’t have the Seer’s knowledge to do so. (Kankri is a very extreme and unfortunate example of the Seer’s guiding tendency, but Rose and Terezi can be bossy in their own ways as well.) I’d also like to see that your knowledge of Void works into your art in some way.

An alternate suggestion for your class could be Maid, where you create in order to provide your aspect to your teammates. Void seems to be connected to inspiration out of nothingness, according to Rose’s drunken speech about the apple as an indivisible symbol:

ROSE: Or what about, the tale of Isaac Newdon under the tree?? He was BONKED on the head by an apple.  ROSE: Not reallyan apple though… an atomic idea. An emlemental unit of inspripation itself, id clocked him right on then noggin. 

In this sense, you create art to provide inspiration to your friends. Jade acted similarly when she baked a cake to try and bring her friends together for a party and cheer them up. Unlike a Seer, the Maid doesn’t need to provide teammates any directed aspect - just aspect in general.

(Obviously this Void = Inspiration thing works for a Seer as well, where you guide friends towards inspiration in the same way that Rose guided the meteor towards the light of the new session.

ROSE: For a brief moment, the sun will be visible from that session.  ROSE: And we will be riding the chartreuse coattails of its photons.

As for your ascension question, I don’t think who you ascend with makes any difference to you with regards to classpect. Rose and Dave ascended together, as did the alpha kids, and none of them are acting outside what is reasonable for their classpect.

may you find a classpect for my moirail, they are secretive, introverted person,who is not one to show their emotions and feelings, but cares about their loved ones, they are into computer technology and bioenginering, art, cosplay, anime and other things, their humor is dark and cynical, and have no filter

Based on our track record, they’re probably a Rogue of Light ;) But let’s get some opinions. I’m definitely feeling Void based on the computer tech and bioengineering, but I’m not sure about class.

can I get tossed a classpect? i can work with direct messaging. Okay to start I'm forgetful at times and I'm both extrovert and introvert but i'm shy mostly. I'm a sorta slow person when i'm doing things but once I get it down I can pick up the pace. My friends say that I'm smart and good at things but I find it hard to believe their words.I don't see myself as great as my friends do and I feel like I don't belong or deserve my friends. I can detach my emotions sometimes and I hide my feelings.

I think a Witch based on being skilled but unsure of self, but I’m not sure about aspect. Any members want to weigh in?

I do feel that Iam a page of heart, and was told as such, but wanting to make sure, Iam emotionally insecure, fear of abandonment, very clingy, lazy af, confused on what I really am, have trust issues,and insecurities of my self in general, Iam protective of my friends, and loved ones and I worry that Iam a bother to those I care for

This is one of those things I find really interesting about classpect theory.

There are (at least) two theories about the Page class, and they’re complete opposites. One is that the Page is insecure and lacks their aspect. The other is that the Page is confident and full of their aspect (or at least extremely enthusiastic about it, if not skilled at it).

The person who called you a Page of Heart seems to have been using the first theory. I, unfortunately, prefer the second theory. While I try to see classpects through whichever theory an inquirer or discussion partner prefers, and I agree you fit the first theory very nicely, the two theories are such opposites that I can’t personally advocate for your being a Page.

Also unfortunately, based solely on the information given in this ask, I don’t have any suggestions for alternate titles. I like to think a title is based on an aspect that the player posesses, understands, likes, or otherwise has an affinity for. You’ve given me a long list of everything you seem to dislike about yourself :(

This is one of the cases where you could be a Knight, but you’d need a few more traits that aren’t mentioned here. Everyone knows that Knights have facades. However, the Knight’s facade isn’t just normalcy; they want to be great. Latula wanted to be rad, Dave wanted to be a hero, Karkat demanded to be the troll session leader and wanted to join “the most lethal members of [Alternian] society, the THRESHECUTIONERS.” 

KARKAT: THEY WERE LIKE THE DEADLIEST SQUAD OF INTERSTELLAR FIGHTERS UNDER THE COMMAND OF THE EMPRESS. THEY HELPED CONQUER MORE PLANETS THAN ANY OTHER IMPERIAL FORCE. BUT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO MAKE THE CUT, BECAUSE OF MY BLOOD. SO I USED TO THINK OF ALL THESE ELABORATE SCENARIOS TO HIDE MY BLOOD COLOR. OR IN THE MORE RIDICULOUS FANTASIES, MAYBE I COULD EVEN PROVE MY WORTH AS A SOLDIER? LIKE JUST BE SO AWESOME WITH A SICKLE, THEY WOULD JUST HAVE TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION. (On an alternate note for anyone trying to figure out their titles: no offense, but being protective of friends is not a helpful trait for figuring out your title. Even Vriska was protective of her teammates! It’s a trait that can apply to any class and any aspect, and not worth the letters it takes up in an ask.)

May you please find one of my friend's classpect? I've been having trouble trying to figure out what they are. Their personality traits are humble, intelligent, restless, active both physically and mentally, secretive, sociable but yet likes their alone time, enjoys arguments, has a knack for being persuasive, not very artistic, loyal, practical, secretly caring and kind, hard-working, doesn't like change, and very animated. They also are very good at math and hate people who don't work.

Being restless, active, persuasive, and animated sounds like a Breath player. The ones we’ve seen in Homestuck have all been friendly and sociable but also like having their own space.

“Dislikes change” seems less fitting for Breath, but John and Rufioh displayed that trait as well in certain areas. Rufioh doesn’t want to break up with Horuss even though he’s unhappy (although that was more due to avoiding the confrontation). John tends to imagine the world a certain way and resists efforts to change his view. I’m sure there are Breath players that thrive on drama and chaos, but it’s not a requirement for the aspect, I think.

Unfortunately I’ve no idea about your friend’s class.  I need more info about what their role is, what they do, what they want to achieve, and/or what they struggle with in order to figure out their relationship with their aspect (and if that aspect is correct at all, or if it just happens to match their personality).  Feel free to leave a comment or a reblog!
