i saw this cute titles meme that @sarahtheblack recently did and it made me remember how i struggle with titles. i am tagging anyone who wants to play including @theasexualscorpio @thatgirlnevershutsup @drgns8r @allthedances @maroucia @eilitintheheartland @shortsandramblings @myrish-lace-love @vivilove-jonsa @misshoneywheeler only if they are so inclined.

you are supposed to list last 20 titles but methinks it would be more awesome to list the first ten and last ten just because (i kinda wanna see my progression (or more accurately mayhaps lack thereof)):

1. How many are you happy with?

i like barks and recreation, sansa wanted, a needle, puff, never let you go, and the audition as i thought they fit the fic the most. so 6/20 which is not too bad methinks (my standards are low 🤣)

2. How many are… not great?

welp, the ones i really thought were not that inspired are sansa prompts (ok i just punted here as it was an anthology of lotta fills of so many different genres), monster, wings, and possibly lemons (as i was typing that up before takeoff xmas eve).

all of them

4. How many did you know before you started writing/creating, or near the beginning?

none

5. How many are quotes from songs or poems?

i think only one - if was inspired by a poem with the same name

7. Which best reflects the plot of the story/content of the fanwork?

altho not one of my first ten or last ten titles, i think stannis, tall and plan was such a great title for the mail order bride fanfic.

8. Which best reflects the theme of the story/fanwork?

sansa wanted as it is about a help wanted ad for sansa (typo for santa). (see also 7. above)

9. Which best reflects the character voice of the story/POV of the fanwork?

never let you go as it really reflects how robert feels about lyanna, the ghost who literally haunts him in this fic. when i think of grief, there is a part of you that do not want to ever forget or ever let go...

10. Which is your favorite?

ahh, this is tough as it is like asking which child you love the most (tho for my parents, it was easy as their fave child was, of course, moi). i think it is probably stannis, plain and tall because i still laugh when i read it!

(when i look at my first ten and my second ten, i really do not see any progression nor any regression - i see mostly one word titles.)

1. How many are you happy with?

I’m super happy with a few. get up, get down is one i REALLY like but i’m not sure if it’s bc it’s fresh, or if it’s something i genuinely like. dirty for dirty is another that i love, it really fits jyn and han imo.

2. How many are…not great?

ugh my rebelcaptain drabbles just have titles bc they have to, i don’t really like them. take my hand is one i wanna change so badly, but i feel like i should just stick with it.

3. How many did you scramble for at the last minute?

most of them bc i’m a writer that doesn’t do too much planning. almost all of my recent fire emblem stuff has been last minute.

4. How many did you know before you started writing/creating, or near the beginning?

dirty for dirty-- i was thinking about jyn and han being partners and i feel like classic rock would totally fit them; dirty for dirty is something in bad company they utter at the vary end lol, and it just FITS THEM SO WELL.

honey dipper-- radio by sylvan esso was the INSPIRATION for that little fic, and the phrase was just too good to not use.

5. How many are quotes from songs or poems?

almost all of them!! if there not directly from a song, there from the hozier fanfic title generator-- i use that thing all the time.

6. How many are other quotes?

i don’t think any of them are-- they’re either made up or from a song.

7. Which best reflects the plot of the story/content of the fanwork?

thaw, we’re drunk let’s talk, most of my little rebelcaptain drabbles-- the titles are meant to be straightfoward. thaw was specifically for a prompt.

8. Which best reflects the theme of the story?

catching little words-- it’s about what a character says when she’s been knocked out; her love interest literally has to listen to her mumbles, while reading in between the lines of her behavior.

9. Which best reflects the character voice of the story/pov of the fanwork?

coming of age-- i LOVE the song this is from, and the work is about Bernadetta/ a character that we get to see grow (in crimson flower route at least). The story is about her killing her shitty father, and contrasts with her love interest who in canon, kills his own father. It’s her very own coming of age (also the song goes a little deeper, saying “I am coming of age/in the quietest of ways” and idk if just fits her so well, and it’s all i could think of when writing)

10. Which is your favourite title?

dirty for dirty! again, I think it just FITS them so well, two scoundrels helping the rebellion but still being themselves.

guhhhHHHH these are both SO good. Especially because Wind's Whisper makes me think of "Wicked Winds Whisper" ...a track from the OST I definitely associate with him.

Shadowspark is so 😔👌 (and actually a name for one of her attacks in the EX Trial / WoLxPrimal headcanon thing I never finished!)

I was tagged by @bwauthors and @hklunethewriter to do this. Had to translate the text since I write in my native, but it was still fun. I write in norwegian in case you were wondering.

Story: Ogimas - the three half-demons (Ågimas - De tre halv-demoner)

1. I walked straight on a little girl (jeg gikk rett på en liten jente)
