Nicky and Duke from when they were still fresh character drafts!! Nicky wanted to go on a midnight fast food run, but he still doesn't have his driver's license. (I have concept sketches of his future husband but I dont remember where they areee..)

I actually love that this was the prompt you chose because I've had this outfit in the back of my mind for months based off of a picrew (By @/pepper jackets) I made for him once. (Added below cut)

Anyway, his outfit features a loose band t-shirt, some jorts, a pair of blue-green sneakers, and my best shot at a late 90's prosthesis (Referenced from the Ottobock C-leg) which he had painted orange/yellow.

Solanum doodles! (CW very mild blood)

So I did NOT end up drawing just a headshot, but that's okay because it evolved into many many doodles instead. Also, I'm not sure if I don't like the top left doodle because I fought to draw his expression for 3 hours and just don't like it OR if I just don't like how thin my line-art is.

But enough yapping, I did sprinkle some lore bitties in here and added a silly bonus doodle of his deerfox design. Have any questions or curiosities? I'd love to answer them. uh, yeah I'm tired goodnight everybody. ^^''

Sometimes I think about the first line I ever wrote for Solanum, and kind of cringe at how dramatic it makes him sound. But then I remember how many horrors this man goes through for the plot and..yeah he deserves to be a little dramatic sometimes. as a treat.

"I've been here for 10,000 years, and here I shall remain for eternity and a day." <- Has been laying on the side of a valley for 6 years and was only awake for 2 weeks

I need to make a compilation of silly expressions I've drawn on my characters, that would be fun I think.

I'm also rather disappointed to say that this simple doodle is the best reference for his abdominal scar I've ever drawn.

Some TITPWID doodles to accompany my most recent piece, since I feel weird just posting it like that out of the blue. Humor to soften the awkwardness.

Top left doodle is Wolf being angsty in the "bath" (stream) again, recalling one specific conversation.

Bottom right doodle is the one I want to yap about, mostly so I can remember this info. SO: I spent a few months hyper fixating on these two last year (It may happen again idk) and I've gotten so specific with their characters that I've given them distinct sleeping habits that I will now list/discuss.

Solanum: * Solanum sleeps on the right side of the bed since his right leg was amputated and someone's afraid of accidentally bumping it in the night. * He doesn't dream at all, having a sleeping rune carved into your skin kind of messes with how your body/brain sleep. * He can **usually sleep like the dead (Literally) which sometimes freaks out Wolf. * His favorite sleeping position is on his back with one arm tucked under the cool pillow and the other resting on the soft spot of his abdomen just below his ribcage (its weirdly specific but its also very comfortable, trust). He sleeps with his stump outside of the covers (unless its cold) on top of a second pillow. *Likes to stretch out if he can *Sometimes he wakes up early to watch the sunrise. Wolfgang: This man's a terrible sleeper. * Sleeps on the left side of the bed, between Sol and the cabin wall * Insomniac and a light sleeper * Prone to night terrors * Talks in his sleep which **occasionally wakes Sol, he also tosses and turns as well which does the same thing. * His (subconscious) favorite sleeping position is the fetal position. He often hugs a pillow to his chest throughout the night. He also sometimes likes to lay near/on Sol's chest because he can hear his heartbeat. * If he wakes himself up from a nightmare his most common response isn't to cry/panic, but to throw up. * This means most mornings he wakes up nauseous and even more tired than he was when he went to sleep. * When he goes to sleep he tucks his hair over his shoulder, but by the time he wakes up its a sprawled out tangled mess and usually ends up covering Sol's face in some capacity.
