Week 6 of Fantasy Football is in the books. Hope everyone’s week was as great as mine! I walked away with an impressive win this win. Like I said in my week 5 blog, I decided to make several changes to my roster after some poor performances the week before. One replacement paid off in a big way. The other had very little effect on my score for this week. However, I did not have much of a choose to make that change.
In Week 6, my team scored 153 points. I beat my opponent by 33 points. Overall, a fairly dominant win that led to a very stress free Sunday. My line up did not change this week other than Alvin Kamara and Jordan Reed getting benched. Jordan Reed was the only player that actually got benched; the Saints had a BYE week forcing me to bench Kamara. However, I was heavily considering benching him for RB T.J. Yeldon of the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. In place of Jordan Reed, I started TE Austin Hooper of the Atlanta Falcons. That turned out to be a great move. T.J. Yeldon, on the other hand, did not score as well as I had hoped he would. However, he did outscore every other running back on my bench, so it was a good start. I was also pleased that 5 out of my 9 starting players scored over 20 points. I decided to start Matt Ryan at QB again and he had another great week. Although, one player on my team had an even better week than Matt Ryan. Adam Thielen has turned into my best fantasy player and possibly the best WR in the National Football League. For six straight weeks, Thielen has had over 100 yards receiving. He has also had over 20 fantasy points every game for the past six weeks. Last season was definitely his break-out year. But, this year has established him as one of the best receivers / players in the game. Thielen was by far my best pick in the draft and I feel bad for all of you that do not have Thielen on your team.
