It's like super cool how you're the most "hey it's that guy!" guy on the internet. Like there's some kind of sense of comfort in seeing a comment from you because you're like one of those Comment Guys. It's delightful

honestly, I often get tired of how people see me as just "the a press guy" but this framing makes my presence feel a lot more appreciated. I'm glad people are happy to have me around :)

tumblr search sucks so feel free to skip this if answered before but... whats the genesis of your username. like i assume your real name is henry and you put it there in the middle as if it were a nome de guerre or something but... where did the tj yoshi part come from. or when did you settle for an orange yoshi with the mask of that dude from ace attorney. peace.

TJ is my IRL name (or rather my most common nickname)

I grew up really liking Yoshis, orange was my favorite color, and when I was revisng his design, I happened to be playing through Ace Attorney. Godot quickly became one of my favorite characters and the rest is history.

Henry the Yoshi was originally just my attempt at making a youtube channel mascott. (At this point in time, my youtube name was simply "Orange Yoshi" since I'd been told not to put my real name on the internet)

The name Henry came after the design when I was invited to a Google+ RP group and the person in charge made a comment about how he can't just call me "Orange Yoshi"

I settled on the name Henry, inspired by Fire Emblem Awakening and Lucahjin's Ocarina of Time playthrough.

...Do you ever feel like you're losing your ability to enjoy things?

I mean, do anything for long enough and you're bound to get tired of it. SM64 is quite possibly still my favorite game of all time to this day, but I forced it to be my channel's brand for so long that I'm not sure if I'm ever going to play it again on camera.

IMO It's a sign that you need to try some new things and if that doesn't work...

It sounds like you have heavier baggage then someone like me is qualified to help you with and you might want to seek out a therapist or something

Am I a bad person for being sick of seeing brainrot everywhere? I can't stand those shows by "Bug Studios", but sites like YouTube and DeviantArt keep shoving them in my face, and I want it to stop.

Sir I am the guy from the YouTube comments.

But also, no? You don't have to enjoy anything. My advice is to just avoid being an asshole to people who do enjoy something. Even if you have extremely justifiable reasons for not enjoying something.

See enough of anything against your will and you'll probably start disliking it.

Why are people on social media obsessed with digging up drama from years ago?

It's not drama, it's just a meme quote people find really funny and don't care about how many times I've been reminded of it.

Have you listened to Constant Companions Deluxe Edition yet? If you have, what's your thoughts on the new songs? (Also maybe the old songs if you haven't posted about them before either)

I regrettably... Got distracted after a few songs the last time I tried to sit down and listen to the album

I unfortunately am awful at finding time to listen to music because the vast majority of time I'm not spending at my job is time I spend either

• Editing/streaming

• With my friends

• Battling Executive Dysfunction (watching YouTube)

I liked every song I heard, but did not get anywhere near finishing the album.

Birdbrain is still my favorite of what I've heard, but my opinion of the other 3-4 songs are so surface level that they may as well not exist.

You know what, I'm gonna change that. Tomorrow I'll listen to the full album while commuting to my job and I'll be back with some actual heccin opinions.

Yeah that was such a weird way to start my day! Just saw my good acquaintance Gamerchamp was streaming ape escape, joined to say hi and she immediately just... doubted my identity(?)

Despite the fact that I literally invited her to a Mario Kart Tournament with a bsky account that uses the exact same handle. One that she actively participated in?

No hate obviously because I've said and done way stupider things in the past, and actually DID have to deal with my fair share of imposters, but it hasn't happened in roughly 7 years.
