Is the universe telling me to continue The Joy of Writing Sex and Fiction in the Fairytale? Because seriously, I just found this on Canva, as one of their premade things.

YAY! Thank you! There was one started, but I didn’t like it and decided to take it down to change it. It is on my never-ending list of things I started and need to finish.

you wrote a gripping story about a young student who falls for her English professor... and then goes to England. Is that anywhere I can read again?

Unfortunately, I’ve taken it down from all sites--my intention is to rework it and publish it. If I can get everything going soon, it would ideally be out by the fall. But knowing me, it’ll be more early 2017/spring 2017. The original “The Joy of (Writing) Sex” will be a prologue novella, followed by a series of other novellas and novels. That’s my hope and plan, anyway. But the rule I’ve made for myself is that I have to have the next book in the series done before I can publish the one before it.

So, the short answer is, no, there isn’t anywhere. However, if you periodically check back, you will eventually be able to read it again.

That gif set you reblogged (fall in love with TH) always makes me think of Tamsin's view in that chapter where the professor is sitting in front of her with his legs touching hers and he's prompting her to think of the best way to convey an intimate moment in writing.

Rename The Joy of (Writing) Sex

I have to change this title because it’s too close to the book that inspired the fanfic. But I need suggestions. Can you help?

If I choose your title suggestion, you will receive acknowledgment in the published novella and a copy of the paperback (if you want it).

The only things to keep in mind:

- If you can fit it into the same title theme as “The Fiction in the Fairytale”, that would be perfect. Like it could be The Problem with the Professor or something like that. I really don’t like that example, but you get the idea. It also doesn’t have to be alliterative. The Problem with the Plot? Who knows.

- Must have something to do with writing/literature/fiction/etc. The novella is broken up into five parts involving the writing process: Brainstorm, Research, Rough Draft, Editing, Final Draft. 

- Tamsin is a grad student in an MFA writing program. The professor she’s in love with is her thesis mentor and tells her to not shy away from writing a sex scene in her thesis novel.

- This novella is basically just about sex. No earth shattering plot like I may have planned in TFITF--along with more sex.
