So~ Update on my life. I became obsessed with light novels and web novels to the point where I decided to dust off my rusty Mandarin knowledge to translate Zither Emperor by Tang Jie San Shao.

Well, halfway through with TLing 5.2, have been slowly regaining my motivation to TL chapter 5 - aka the plot stopped making me enrage every minute because my poor cinnamon roll Yin Zhu. Still...that plot point was pretty predictable, exceedingly common in CN cultivation novels, but it gave cinnamon roll!Yin Zhu hope, so all is well.

Okay, so a brief recap, chapter 5 of ZE has been sending me on this crazy whirlwind of a translating spree. I HATED TLing chapter 5.1. OMG does the main character (MC) have to be so stupidly innocent? Now it’s 5.2, and it’s not getting any better (stupidly innocent cinnamon roll of a MC), but I feel so bad for him. I want to roll him up in a blanket and shield him from the outside world. He is so freaking cute and innocent, so unfair.
