hello first of all i love you. i talked abt it a little here and here and here but i will always ramble abt this au more bc i love it so much
the dynamic btween sadie and the other spiderpeople in this au is something that can be so personal........
like i think sadie lacks a solid parental figure in a way that miles didn’t and so the like mother/daughter dynamic between her and bast is so much more open and two-sided than it was between peter b and miles.
”why do you have a cat aesthetic. you’re spiderman?” “uh because cats are awesome now shut up kitten”
bast is basically learning not to be so self-sacrificing. i think in her universe she just didn’t really have regard for her own life, and was overly reckless in ways she didn’t have to be and was kind of jaded because of that
and by being with sadie and having someone to protect and being part of a team and seeing how sadie’s universe is responding to their spider-man dying, she can go back to her universe realizing that other people care if she dies, and just more willing to ask for help and take care of herself
isis is just. lksdafj. so she’s spidernoir and idk it’s just the aesthetic of her glowing eyes + wind that shouldn’t be there and strange speech patterns and ancient egyptian and she just seems Wrong i think it fits
but like she’s still trying mom sadie, but in a Totally different way than bast is. you know?
actually you know that scene at aunt may’s where they’re all beating up miles to see if he can get back up? big isis energy in this au like she’s nurturing and motherly but in her own blunt and distant way <3

a lot of the details from gwen stacy stay the same for him. he’s a drummer in a band. he did ballet.
walt’s self-isolation bc he’s terrified of endangering everyone he cares about 🤝 sadie’s self-isolation bc she’s terrified of everyone she cares about leaving her
also the way that miles like lies to gwen abt the goober and tries to act cool while obviously and loudly being a complete dork? big sadie flirting with walt energy
just. sadie’s so fun and even though she’s a really sad kid with a lot of baggage, she brings a lightness that is just so refreshing and especially for the past that this walt would have after feeling alone as spider-man for so long and it’s exactly what he needs and i love them so much
jaz as peni parker is just so fun!! the robot is such a fun extension of statuary magic
also jaz is the only one w/o powers but she’s a cheerleader which means she’s super fit and can do all the acrobatics + she and sadie are super competitive about comparing their #skills
jaz walt and sadie is just a trio that can be so personal.....joking around and making fun of bast and isis and playing around with their powers......
idk what’s gonna happen in the future of the spiderverse but i would like to see them come back so sadie can have this family and introduce them to carter and have regular dinners and how sadie and walt roast him to hell for not having super powers (jaz + he are v good friends bc of this.)
