And while we’re on the subject T. Kingfisher has got no business making me as emotional as I am about those silly little romance books about paladins. I bawled reading Paladin’s Faith like a crazy person. I don’t know what kind of sorcery is in these books but I can’t wait for the next one
I believe that in order to take some small step forward, the word “bird” should be replaced with “saur” in all common names. Mockingsaur. Secretarysaur. Red-winged blacksaur. HUMMINGSAUR

Three of Hearts
Tomorrow is Friday the 13th of September. On that day, 11 years ago, Reverend Mord hosted the first episode of The Hidden Almanac, an anthology of strange and obscure anniversaries from the mind of @tkingfisher.
I fell off partway through the first time around, and never heard the later episodes, so I've decided I ought to give it another go. This is as good an opportunity as any to start, and slightly better than some because if you listen to each episode on the corresponding date it will also be on the correct weekday (at least until 2027 messes it up by uncooperatively refusing to be a leap year like 2016 was).
If you've never listened to The Hidden Almanac, this might be an occasion to give it a try. The episodes are short, there's an ongoing storyline that sneaks up on you, and you might even learn something (no promises about whether the thing you learn is actually true).
Whatever you decide to do, be safe, and remember: you are not alone.
My feed is dead. Like this if you're still active on here so I can actually, you know, follow more active blogs.
A scene from What Moves the Dead (by @tkingfisher) that has been ringing in my head since I read it ( ˙꒳˙ )
