I was inspired by a comment by @betweenlands that discussed how v!Legundo would react to meeting various other Legundos. It made me think: "what if we put them all together, kinda Undertale AU style?" So, I present you the idea of "How many Legs" – shenanigans, a bit of existential horror, and a doctor or two questioning his life choices are guaranteed.
The premise, as I said, is several Legundos being put in one universe – I decided to land 'em all in VSMP before the discovery of vamps.
Specific Legundos: post-Haunted Winter 100dmv Legundo, PiglinGundo, SBK! Legundo (warning: I have watched a grand total of 5 episodes of SBK, all from Legs' POW), post-retirement GoT Scenario Legundo (debating whether to make him an Ice Dragonborn like my AllSupernat! Legundo or not. I'm leaning more towards not, for the sake of Doc), and post-Oakhurst StarterSwap!Legundo (he's getting help, don't worry).
Everyone's general vibes (and nicknames I'll be using for them for my and your convenience):
Traveller: ball of anxiety. "So many people, too many people-!" *curls up under a blanket in Abolish's house with a cup of hot chocolate the man found somewhere.*
North: chilling (ha!), even if he regrets having high alcohol tolerance. That's not how he thought his retirement from royalty would go, but eh.
Champion: he is freezing, he is shaking from too much oxygen, and his arm prosthetic is Wither knows where.
Virus: out of his own volition or not, he's here to be a menace.
Doc: spiked with whiskey tea from Abolish is the only thing keeping him together.
Plague: the true "real monster trying to do better". For a guy this objectively horrifying, tho, he is hilariously bad at being a vampire.
“And so, after the Grat War was won, Sansa Stark and Jon Snow, wed, joining their houses. Jon Snow took his Queen’s name, and became Jon Stark, The White Wolf. Many songs were written about the love between The Northern King, and his beloved Queen. They say, no man, dared look upon her, nor disrespect her, for it was the, one, and only thing, able to anger The King. They had seven beautiful children, four boys, and three girls. Their reign was peaceful, and prosperous, and they are counted to have been the fairest, wisest, and kindest rulers, the Seven Kingdoms have ever known.” ♛♚
This is quite interesting… I wonder how people would react to there being 6 Legundos lol. Also what Avid specifically would think about Pigundo being obviously-SOMETHING-not-human but not having the faintest idea of what.
Here's my answer, even if it wasn't really a question (warning – I rarely give short answers. A bit over 500 words below cut):
[Having six versions of the same person around is... weird. At first, the general reaction was various shades of "nope. Too sober/young/old for this". After a while, there's just exasperation left.]
Martyn, loudly: Hey, Legs-
Traveller: *digs himself out of the ground where he somehow ended up while caving*
Plague: *peeks through a window of his basement, bottles with questionable liquids in hand*
Virus: *drops upside down from where he's building his roof, feet hooked on the ledge of what he got so far*
Doc: *glances down from where he's struggling with his own roof*
Champion: *looks up from where he's tinkering with silver on his and North's porch*
North: *pauses while shearing Joanelle I for more blankets for Champion*
All six of them, in perfect unison: Yes?
Martyn: Um-! No, I-... I meant Doc-
Plague: *raises an eyebrow, setting down his chemical equipment*
Doc: *lowers the hammer Champion made him with a confused frown*
Martyn, to an accompaniment of metaphorical crickets: ...You need nicknames, people. The not-edgelord one, please?
Champion: *snorts*
North, with a confused frown: ...
[And that's how they came to having nicknames.]
Plague, equally confused: ...What is an-?
[As to what Avid thinks of Champion's inhuman nature... He doesn't realise at first that only North and Doc are human Legundos (Champion doesn't have all that many piglin-specific traits, as a semi-material being Virus can dematerialise his avian features, Traveller himself is unaware he ain't human, and Plague... Yeah, that one's on Avid). And here's what the conversation's like when he does:]
Avid: VAMPIRE!
Champion: *jumps, hand freezing where he was trying to make some more tools out of silver* Wha-
Avid: You can't hide anymore, I have you!
Champion: The hell-?
Avid: *threateningly waves a stake in the other's general direction* I won't let you suck on anyone in town-!
Champion: *blushes* Excuse me, what-?
Plague, who was chilling in the shade nearby: *starts cackling in the world's best impression of both an insane cartoon villain and an evil semi-eldritch seagull.*
Champion: *blushes harder, glaring at the scientist* Shut it! *turns back to Avid, who was spooked into stopping his tirade* And the Nether yer talking about? What's a "wham-pyre"??
Avid: ...Huh?
Champion: Is it, like, some local slang word for gay people?
Plague: *chokes on his laughter, bends over wheezing and coughing. By the gods he stopped believing in on the front lines, he doesn't remember the last time he laughed this hard.*
Avid, very confused: ...Huh??
[Cue to about half an hour of Avid explaining to Champion what vampires are. The piglin hybrid facepalms at the end of it, and then uses the silver tools he's working on to chase Avid away. Does Champion consider the vamp hunter to be a blind idiot? Yes. To be fair, after Virus everyone just assumed that Plague is also a member of some race his world has but this one doesn't. The man is that far up the vamp stages.]
All six adore sheep, pink ones in particular in the case of the non-doctors. Virus knows pink sheep are usually that way cuz there's something wrong with them (aka mutations) & he finds kinship. North appreciates sheep and their wool's warmth, like many from such cold climates would. Plague used to have a niche interest in sheep in his youth, one Doc still has. Champion simply finds the creatures cute. And Traveller is... self-explanatory.
When Champion stumbles upon one... You better bet he (gently) carried the thing all the way to town. Yes, with only one arm (he did his best to ensure the small things's comfort, even if it earned him a cramp).
(And if Joanelle I happens to be a minion of a certain Monarch... Well. They do need to know what's going on to do their job well.)
Another silly post, in answer to myownmeadow's comment:
Imagine Traveler finding not one, but SIX pink sheep, a whole flock of ‘em, one for each Legs. Out of curiosity, which Legses would keep one as a pet and what do you think they’ll name them?
Good thing Traveller had wheat on him – to Oakhurst they go! This world is blessed! (It's the happiest he's seen as ever since Apo and Martyn first found him.) By the unanimous agreement of the entire town, North is the designated shepherd, sharing the control over the town's food supplies with Cleo. He's one of the most qualified people to take care of the representatives of eldritch gods sheep.
The one Champion found was named Joanelle I, she was mentioned in The Problem Of Having Six Legundos post. She's jokingly heralded as the queen of pink sheep. Virus convinced the other Legundos to name a sheep each, and as their primary caretaker North got to name two (Traveller got to name Joanelle I already, and didn't have anymore ideas for names).
Hereby, Joanelle I got Bug, Daisy, Fluffy, Viktor, Marshmallow and O'khar the Terrible as her new friends (guess who named whom).
