regarding the shinigami fuckability levels manga is my personal go to for what they look like

if I’d started with the anime I’d have had trouble viewing Ryuk as an option for writing or thinking about in that way but weirdly not Rem. with Rem they kept her pretty monstrous

every time the anime needed comedic relief: a Ryuk made out of silly string with the canonically severe withdrawal symptoms appeared. He looked like the anatomy book depiction of what’s happening with testicular torsion.

if you find anime Ryuk bangable too? no shame in your game. I’ll be thinking about a Ryuk so huge that Light can barely scramble halfway up him to beg in the last chapters.

hands down of course musical Ryuk is objectively hottest Ryuk. Just as, if musical Rem told me we ride at dawn I would get ready to do so and not ask why. Musical Rem is an, is it okay to breathe your air level of hot

I think the thing I like most about Professor Venomous is that he's so far removed from other cartoon villains, including Boxman. He rarely acts like or resembles any villain stereotypes--he's just a severely messed-up dude, and it's his own fault from poorly managing his insecurities (I wish we could've learned more about his past before P.O.I.N.T.).

Despite this, he still has traits (even positive ones) that make him seem pretty chill and down-to-earth. He could be a cool guy if he didn't have such a severe inferiority complex and light sadistic tendencies.

He cares about Fink like a daughter, and according to Ian J.Q., he genuinely wanted to know and get along with K.O. He just never learned how to actually be a father, and has no sense of discipline, even for himself.

On a side note, the show is transparent about the fact that two unmarried characters had unprotected sex (the only reason K.O. exists), which was previously unheard of in cartoons aimed at kids/teens until about the past 15 years or so. The show also addressed absentee father issues in a way kids could understand.

Getting back to Venomous, another surprising thing is that he falls in love with the highly ineffectual lesser villain in the series. Boxman is the antithesis of Venomous--being an amalgamation of cliché and obnoxious cartoon villain stereotypes--yet he has Venomous completely enamored, almost to a fault (it takes laughably little for Venomous to forgive him for even the most monumental screw-ups).

Boxman does manage to break free of some of his stereotypes, and it's because of Venomous. Aside from later interference from Shadowy Figure, the romantic relationship between the two is shown to be surprisingly healthy, and built on a foundation of mutual support.

It's nice to see the goofy villain end up with their crush, and the "attractive" one falling for someone you might not expect them to.

Having big feels about just shutting this blog down.

I made this blog for my ffxiv ocs and yes I've been away from tumblr for a while back and forth but even from the get go there wasn't a lot of activity here. Recently the only real interactions I've been getting are for reblogs from others and nothing for my ocs apart from my spouse. So my brain wolves just keep telling me 'why bother?' I keep trying to get myself to put myself and my characters out there more and at this point maybe its time to throw in the towel and come to terms with that I'm the problem (its me). I want to talk about my characters all the time but I get overwhelmed easily without a guide and even then my brain will often go into shut off mode trying to fight against past trauma that no one actually cares and I'll alienate people, be too much, be told to stop, or just be ignored entirely. I love doing screen shots, and edits, and character asks, and writing, but when they only get a couple of likes or lately nothing at all. Its hard to justify to my adhd that I want put all the work into creating and posting it to share even if nothing happens. Cause if no one wants to see it or even like it, I'll just keep it in my head and put my energy elsewhere.

Like I'm obviously its something I'm doing something wrong. Either I'm not tagging the way I should, I'm not posting enough (granted I dont know if I have the brain to post more without a prompt of some kind), not being engaging enough or the most heart breaking option that what I'm posting just isn't like by people. I just don't know which or if its even something I can change.

I also recognize that I'm hitting a low point. Likely its lots of different stresses converging onto this one small hurt because I can't do anything about the other larger, world wide stresses and anger. I can only hope that writing it down will help it get out of my head.

I'm going to try and do some new screens this weekend, maybe even some writing and get them posted over the next few weeks and see if there is any difference. If not, well at least then I can't say I didn't try.

Made it through another semi-hellish week at my police state of a job...the ashes of the place that I used to love before capitalist fascism started to devour it. I am emotionally tired and my brain is broken from wearing a mask and smiling and being hypervigilant. Was supposed to go hang, but my friend did not get in touch with me. Suspect that both of our brains are not functioning all that great this evening. Everything was an irritant/distraction while I was fixing dinner-my clothes, the detritus on the floor (I swept!), spots on the wall, smells, tea stains, sounds, the lights overhead. It made me itch internally. I kept fixating on things and wandering off and retracing my actions/engaging in reptitive activities. My roommate went to touch my shoulder and I flinched. I dont't want to be touched or even to inhabit a body right now. Holy crap. Even typing is a struggle. Having my fingers on the keys is physically irksome.

But I had a beer and made food so spicy it made me squirm. Ahhh, the pain endorphins. <333 I am sipping wine Mon Mothma style and mentally perusing the ruins of my social life. I don't feel bad in the present moment. It is hard to tell what I feel and looking at other peoples' false smiling fronts is not helping. What is wrong with people??? Fuck these "interesting times". At least it is my weekend. I made it. Hopefully I will not be crawling in my own skin with dread come Wednesday evening at the prospect of returning there for another week.

I do not exaggerate when I say that sometimes being in that place is physically painful and makes my stomach hurt. It's so cold there and grey. I scarcely feel the sun on my skin when I walk outside. People who used to be warm and kind smile and it feels frigid. Folks scurry away afraid to talk. There is one person in particular whose smile falls away the moment that he looks at me and takes on this hard veneer like diamond, or else he looks tired. He talks to and interacts with everyone but me, quite literally. He used to talk to me most of all. But then we were both dragged into a room separately and talked to by the big boss. They kept being vague and strange: "Just answer the questions." I am not even sure what they were asking. How did things get to this point? I did not give them what they wanted which likely annoyed tf out of them. GOOD. I know that they didn't have enough of whatever they wanted to really punish me for whatever I apparently did wrong. I am being tacitly punished in other ways though. I get shunted to wherever they feel like placing me like some outcast whom nobody speaks of even though I am one of the most intelligent, efficient, productive people there. I was a star employee. Now folks look over like I am perceiving them or like they feel vaguely guilty about something that they cannot name, or else like they fear me. I am mostly okay, but some days it does my head in a little. *takes another sip of wine*

I think it's because I say things like "all lesbians are mean or weird towards me" and like they're like "#not all lesbians 😡" but then their actions will not reflect this sentiment at all because it is in fact "#most if not all lesbians" because they are easily radicalized, only listening to other women's opinions and not being receptive of any information that challenges their world view.
