Big booms of thunder and hard patters of rain could be heard banging on the roof and sides of the giant MegaPizzaplex as the last child was hurriedly picked up from the SuperStar Daycare.
The lights dimmed quite a bit more than usual, providing a comforting aroma in the normally loud and bustling daycare.
After assisting Earth and Andromeda clean the rainbow and surprisingly not messy daycare, Lunar wandered back to his room. Everyone else was in their rooms or doing something he probably couldn't help with.
Lunar huffed and entered his room. Upon entering he saw you, laying on his hammock.
"Hey Lunar. Took ya long enough."
"Why are you in my room?"
You sat up and gave him your signature charming smile. "Well, it's raining, and I wanted to hangout with you."
He felt his fans kick on and a heat rise to his face. You must've noticed it because you had a small smirk on your face, and your head tilting to the side did not help his case of butterflies at all.
He reluctantly climbed into the hammock with you, wobbling as he didn't have great balance on the light blue, dark blue, and periwinkle striped hammock.
You both shuffled around for a solid three minutes before you two got comfy.
"Okay, you comfy?" You asked, resting your chin on his shoulder.
The blush that had disappeared from his face a minute ago, reappeared again. Lunar sheepishly nodded.
"Mhm. Yeah, yep. I'm very comfy right now." He rambled.
"Good. You're staying here for a while." You nuzzled his shoulder. Pulling a random blanket you found earlier over you two. It was a light blue weighted blanket, and it was even one of those warming ones.
"Why did you look so upset when you walked in?" You didn't look up at him, just started patting his back gently.
"I dunno," He mumbled. "I was just bored I guess.."
"Are you still bored?"
"Wha-What? N-No! No! Of course not!"
"Are you sure? I can go if you wa-"
"NO!" Lunar tightened his grip on you, "No, please don't go... Bro.."
"Ok. I won't." You held in small snicker as he added the "Bro". His mannerisms were always so adorable.
A comforting silence filled the room as you two cuddled. Lunar's chest rising with every artificial breath he took, your head resting on his chest. Lunar was warm, in a cozy way.
As you were patting his back, He started to pet your head. The action made your hand stop petting his back and look up at him. You felt a familiar heat rise to your face as he stared back at you, his hand never paused in petting you.
Before you could think about what you were about to do, you brought a hand to his cheek. His face was soft and kinda chubby. You gently brought his face down slightly and your lips met in a soft kiss.
"Hmph!" Lunar squeaked into the kiss, his fans whirring loudly.
You softly shifted him on top of you, being extremely careful as to not fall of the hammock. You woke up from your haze and pulled away with wide eyes. A red blush melting across your face as you realize what you did.
"Oh my god-" You started to ramble flusteredly, "I-I'm so sorry! O-oh g-god..!"
Your hands quickly flew to cover your burning face. Lunar was quick to uncover your face, holding your hands in his own smaller ones. He was so gentle you barely felt the touch, you only felt it because you were now hyper-aware of everything around you.
"Can we do that again?"
You swore you short-circuted, but nodded. "M-mhm..!" You were probably going to malfunction, but it was definitely worth it because his lips felt so wonderfully against yours.
You would've continued the kiss, but Earth, Mars, Chico, and Dazzle walked in. They stopped right in their tracks as you two froze.
Pulling away from the kiss Lunar and You stared at the four in horror.
"Oh my God." Earth squealed excitedly, "You finally have a partner!"
"Oh no." Lunar muttered to you, making you giggle, "Geeetttt ouuutttt!"
All four rushed out of the room. Once they were gone, you abruted into laughter.
"Did you see Dazzle's face?" You laughed, your hands going to Lunar's hips so he doesn't fall, "She looked horrified!"
Lunar eventually started to laugh with you, falling onto your chest once the laughing turned into small giggles.
You pulled the weighted blanket over you two again and wrapped your arms around him in a bear hug.
"So, uh, are we dating now?" Lunar asked, resting his head against your chest.
"Do you want too?"
"Yeah, I do."
"Then I guess we are boyfriend and (idk ur pronouns)friend."
You two fell asleep cuddling and under a weighted blanket. Safe to say, best sleep of both of your lives.

Earth definitely snapped a bunch of photos of you two cuddling.
She thought it was the cutest thing ever.
You and Lunar definitely do weekly or at least bi-weekly dates.
On said dates, you two either watch a movie and cuddle or Lunar begs Chico and/or Earth to make food for a date night
he has offered you bean soup before, you politely declined. He was heartbroken but he got over it quick when you offered kisses in return

You think his smirk face is the cutest thing ever. You squish his cheeks when he does it.
When he backflips and almost hurts himself, you have a crisis. You immediately check on him before anyone else has even noticed he hurt himself yet
Lunar tried to be big spoon when cuddling, but it just turns into something comedical. You still let him spoon you though.
When he gets his own bed, you're the first person he wants to show
He drags you to his room and shoves you on the bed, climbing on top of you and smothering your face with kisses
