idk why but fan casting Kai as ryan higa is crazy funny

you don’t understand. not only was this an actual fancast people had, it was POPULAR. people would basically see an east asian guy and go, yep, there he is, that’s Prince Kai. I still have several TLC fancasts saved on Pinterests from 2012-2015 (pre series completion) that feature either Zendaya as Winter or Ryan Higa as Kai. Park Bo-Gum was also a fandom fave for Kai for a while, which is a marked improvement over RH but at this point he’s definitely too old. The history of casting our own adaptation in this fandom is too funny and filled with lots of bizarre discourses. I remember me and my friend being distressed around 2017-18 that our fave Cinder fancast at the time was dating Logan Paul 😭😭

I just remembered TLC is going to have an adaptation by locksmith studios so I'm going to watch their only movie so I can hopefully feel better with this adaptation. because I'm really scared they'll ruin it.
