If i say who are more complex character than stolas and i know probably still stirred unpopular opinion and *clear my throat* let me introduced you to my boii had been having PTSD because he LITERALLY witnessed his father death and got blamed for it by his evil ass uncle and he doesn't had time for grieving especially it caused him to having bad temper and overprotective even strict toward his children especially kiara but he actually TRIED his best as his father despite imperfections and you know what- Im would keep ranting about how complexities and depth on simba character that many tlk fandom mischaracterized it even disney itself

Im probably gonna ranting about why simba is better character than stolas and let start that simba actually trying being better father to his children despite he having severe PTSD due to he literally witnessing his own father brutal death while getting blamed for it by his evil uncle and he doesn't had chance for processing his grief properly that we saw that he literally often having anger outbursts almost his emotional coping whole stolas on other side is very neglectful father literally prioritizing his affair partner whom also he coerced into the relationship than his own fucking daughter and he also more putting his time on his affair partner rather than his daughter then crying that he say "no one need him or loved him" like is he forgot that he had literal daughter whom cravings for his attention and in conclusion that simba is way BETTER character than stolas that it my ranting

This is CLEARLY difference between them and simba is the one ACTUALLY tried his best as father despite he was overbearing and over protective yet very strict with his children is justified because he literally didn't want his children got same traumatic experience like he was and he knowledge that he is wrong fo misjudged kovu and apologizing to kiara while stolas is just being neglected his own daughter and prioritizing his affair partner even brought his affair partner on bonding days with his daughter and basically- simba is way better character than stolas ever be

I had another angst headcanon of simba feeling unfulfilled on most time, yes🥲 he having existential crisis but Nala is actually emotionally supporting him through that because he felt that his whole life wasn't enough but he had all his family to supporting him despite he actually still loves scar deep down despite hatred for scar and he is the one actually visiting scar graves and he trying understands why his uncle scar would do such horrible thing especially he even say something like "I thought family supposed loves each other no matter what, now I'm afraid of someone I love leaving me"

honestly let see how im far ranting about simba to spiting stolas, okey first stolas doesn't had sense of responsibility and he literally used heirloom for blackmailing hus affair partner despite it for his daughter, stolas constantly playing victim despite he literally coerced his affair partner into sexual relationship which full moon deal and he also constantly disrespected his affair partner boundaries especially in loo loo lands episodes. But simba hasn't processing his own griefs properly that caused him to having uncontrollable temper and unjustly hatred for outsider cub(referred to kovu and vitani mostly) because he convinced himself that they wasn't one of them but in the end he admitted that he was wrong for unjustly exiled kovu even apologize to his daughter. In conclusion is simba way more interesting and better character than stolas ever be

My another ✨special✨ headcanon for simba againʕ´•ᴥ•`ʔ

He really sucks at hunting when he first being king and having NALA to literally teaching him for improving his hunting skills(dude he literally raised by meerkat and warthog)

He liked to pulled pranks on zazu despite he was being older that he trying relieving his youth little bit which irritated zazu(😔 #justiceforzazu)

He constantly really keep up his looks and he was perfectionist that he literally putting more effort on his appearance than his wife which funny

Simba is kinda father actually crying at his children going to school for first time when that happens if he was human😭😭😭

He often needing constant reassurance from nala, nala often almost ground for keeping him sane(like? nala was his literal everything)

When he was kid, he often constantly looked at reflection of himself on waterhole and complimented about how handsome he often was(yes simba had narcissistic traits since he was kid and he had whole ass musical number about im can't to be king shit)

When he was older and he often aware of attractive he was and he often bragging it on nala, of course nala teased about it that making him fluttering

I actually headcanon for simba that often liked sneaking some grubs for snacking without nala knowledge

Why he acted so serious on tlg and tlk because he trying living up people expectations and im actually headcanon him as severe people pleaser because he trying making everyone is happy and sometimes he wasn't take care of himself is very well and he often trying keep up "perfect" appearance even he often putting much affort on his appearance, yeah im headcanon he was bisexual but he didn't admitted it to nala because he was afraid that she couldn't accepted him despite she really accepting him

Simba often trying suppressing carefree and goofy attitude because he felt that he needed living up to mufasa shadow(which pretty sad that he seemed trying be like his late father😭😭)

Simba sometimes having insomnia and he wouldn't not left him on his own thought and nala often comforting him when everytime he having nightmares about stampede, nala loves to gave him an soft kiss om his forehead.

When he found out that nala is pregnant with kopa and he is actually crying because he considered nala and his three children as light of his life and yes im headcanon kopa was killed by zira that reason of her banishment

If simba was human and he probably having alcoholic even workaholic tendency, he clearly had lot EMOTIONAL issues and unresolved trauma to unpacked

Before nala amd him reunion and im headcanon that he had male lion lover on jungle when he was teenager but the relationship is more summer flings
