"What of her father?" The older man asks Lucy as she looks regretful.
"He's no longer with us..." Lucy looks away from Rex and turns to Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi
"Sometimes when I look at Watevra Wa'nabi...I see her father's face." She spoke sadly.
"He's...gone. it's been hard for both of us."
Queen Watevra Wa'nabi looks at Lucy, sensing Lucy knew her creator, her father.
After some silence, the Queen looked Lucy in the eyes feeling conflicted and sorrowful.
"You knew him...didn't you? My real father, my creator."
The Queen asks as Lucy looks back at her and she smiles sadly.
"Are you my real mother?" she asked, Lucy becomes quiet before placing her hand on the Queen's shoulder.
"I wish I could say I was...but no I'm not," Lucy tells her as Watevra becomes quiet.
Lucy sadly looks at the Queen as she sees the disappointment on her face.
"Sometimes I try to imagine what it was like..." Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi softly mumbles.
"I know that feeling...As Master Builders, our families were taken from us." Lucy says catching the Queen's attention.
"My parents...were master builders but I was too young when they passed on" She presses on telling the Queen about her past.
"I still have glimpses...flashes. I remember my mother's smile, my father's arms." She fondly says and she softly smiles.
"But then I got a new family with the Master Builders, just as the Systar system was your new family."
Lucy turns to Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi with a reassuring smile.
Rex could only sit there in silence as he stared at both of the women in front of him.
A past lover he had thought abandoned him and a lost daughter he tried to kill...
He felt conflicted, regretful, and he couldn't even look at them in the eyes.
But he did wonder if he stayed...could he have a chance with Lucy still?
Maybe, even the chance to be Queen Watevra Wa'Nabi's father she so desired to have.
