ϡ Sleep headcanon

Min always sleeps with her gun tucked underneath her pillow.  It doesn’t matter if she’s sleeping in her own home, which is relatively safe inside the Military District, but she can’t fall asleep if her fingers aren’t grazing her gun. It’s a habit that she picked up from her dad, who actually encouraged her to do this when she was a kid.

Familiar Faces | Kangjun & Chaewon

Recently Kang Jun had met someone. Whilst he was out gathering in his usual spot he came across another. He assumed that they had similar interests but really all it was is the fact that they both liked to gather things to help other people, or themselves for that matter. 

All he knew about this stranger was her name, Chaewon, which in it's own right was a beautiful name at that. He didn't know what group she came from, definitely not the Fireflies, he would of seen her around if she was. Honestly it didn't really matter where she was from, he enjoyed talking to her. She was smart about locations as well, much better than Kang Jun was. They mostly talked about gathering though: their favourite spots, the best things they found etc. Chaewon having the better stories than him. There's only so many times that you can tell the story of finding an empty first aid kit and seem happy about it.

The encounters with Chaewon is what caused Kang Jun to try and seek her out every time that he went gathering. Not just for someone to talk to, but it was much safer to be around someone else, just in case anything happened. They usually met around the area they first met if they wanted company, Kang Jun always ending up there to check if she was there, not really wanting to be alone.

He had been walking for a while now and he was nearing their meeting spot. He didn't really know if she would be here but he was always hopeful. If she was there then they would probably root around in some place they haven't checked yet, or they would double check an area they hadn't fully investigated.

Humming a small tune to himself and kicking a few rocks on the way her figure came into his view. A smile instantly appeared on his face and he proceeded to make haste towards her. Getting closer he raised his arm a little, waving slightly. ''Fancy seeing you here!'' He said as he got close to her, grinning from ear to ear. He opened his bag and located a canteen of water and took it out. ''I brought along an extra one just in case I saw you in passing, and here you are. You can have it if you want.'' Kang Jun gave a tooth full grin as he extended the canteen towards her.

"And if I don’t?"

"That’ll bring on consequences that you and I both know will spiral down into something destructive." Said the dark-haired man as he paced around the room, his arms crossed around his chest.

"There is no way you can deny this!" He insisted, standing in front of her, a pleading look in his eyes. "I swear I’ll help you. But you can’t ignore this. It’ll come bite you in the ass in a future. I don’t wanna risk that." He insisted. He wanted to change her mind about it. Of course, he would do anything and everything in his hands to keep her safe while doing so. But he needed her to cooperate too.

"Of course, it’s your choice. I can’t push you to do it if you don’t want to. If the consequences are bad, we’ll just face them I’ll always be by your side.’ Shrugging his shoulders, he put an arm around her, squeezing her a bit. "The world’s just as big as you let it be. There’s nothing that can’t be done without a little effort."
