BOKURA NO SHOKUTAKU [EP 7 vs CH 4] Manga by Mita Ori
Next episode where we follow manga almost to the dot. Tough choice for parallel shots but fortunately @kolaicendionysos elevated the concept and did their own brilliant set!
Btw, I am still amazed by Yutaka x Tane scene. Our young dude is so convincing and mature for his age, an equal partner for Inukai. WOW.

I was sniffling while making those. 10 weeks! 10 weeks of quiet comfort from this cosy blanket of a show. Thank you, it’s been a JOURNEY.
All episodes: 1 - 2 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10
BOKURA NO SHOKUTAKU [EP 8 vs CH 5 / 6] Manga by Mita Ori
I appreciate that in the series Minoru tells Yutaka straight in the eye that he likes him. Also, Yutaka’s internal panic/chaos/processing is so valid.
BOKURA NO SHOKUTAKU [EP 2 vs CH 2] Manga by Mita Ori
This show is indeed like a blanket Tane is lying under. Warm, comfy and giving the feeling of safety.

OUR DINING TABLE [EP 5]
I am not crying, you are.
Can we agree that there is nothing more precious than Yutaka telling Minoru that he is kind and caring, just like his mother? Oh my, I literally melted. It was exactly what he needed. What we all needed I guess.
OUR DINING TABLE [EP 1]
Family-to-be. Making onigiri. TOGETHER. *uncontrolled sobbing*
BOKURA NO SHOKUTAKU [EP 4 vs CH 2 / 3 / 4] Manga by Mita Ori
So we are back to the source material in episode 4 but the scenes are mixed up like a curry our boys eat. It actually made me admire creators that take on adaptations. Including iconic scenes in a way that will honor the original but suit the pacing and capabilities of another media at the same time is a tough task.
