I think there are three routes for Ardal O'Hanlon to take on Taskmaster.

Either he will have the effortless gentle dad elegance of can't-give-a-shit Alan Davies or impresses everyone with cryptid-dilf-muppet-jumping-over-fences Wozniak-style or he'll be the derranged-while-lazy, social commentary-while-naked David Baddiel.
