for a book: freedom is a constant struggle by angela davis - book of speeches/essays in which Davis discusses how solidarity is necessary because global capitalist/white supremacist systems are all connected.
for a film: children of men (2006). Dir. Alfonso Cuaron. It's literally the best film ever made and has only become more relevant, but most importantly it's so SO hopeful. It's about why humanity is worth saving
to me these are essential texts to inspire solidarity ❤️
