Its so sad but so real for them!! I love the dysfunctional relationship between Zoey and Drew and you wrote them so well

We dont get to be inside zoey's head but I interpreted it as her doing the same thing Drew is (for a different reason), both of them are reaching for some sort of stability, something to shield them for the outside world. Obviously Drew want to be seen as straight to prove to himself that he is, and Zoey, other than wanting money wants attention, but something in her speech made me pause

"Maybe at first. But I've dated other guys, and you're the only one that sees me as more than just a thing! "

So this makes me think that she's not actually searching for that kind of attention, and in a way maybe cheating on Drew was a self destructive behaviour, he still cares about her in a way And she can't handle that kind of real affection, so her only escape was reverting back to bad habits and allowing herself to be used as an object by someone

Okay some lines I really like in the fic!!

"Anything you thought was too much to give to Jake, you gave to Zoey instead." OMG this got me freaking out wdym he wanted to give him a CAR

"You went to block Jake on Instagram, until… you couldn't find his name." Its so Drew to be upset that Jake blocked him first 💔

"She can't even look you in the eye. This is how guilty a person should feel for breaking your heart. She should know it's her fault. She's not throwing out insults and ungratefully rejecting everything you gave her." ((T_T))
