Well Mercy says “He’s been making interesting decisions” lately, so maybe him being cautious and hesitant is out of the ordinary? IDK Jack definitely has been a “do the right thing” kind of guy and obviously has been commended for his strategy and ability to make the right decisions and such, but that doesn’t mean he’s also a little impulsive.

thats true!!! & i mean with the amount of pressure overwatch would be facing n shit would be pretty daunting, n jack is definitely portrayed as a Does The Right Thing type of dude but like i kinda just wanna actually SEE him do something really impulsive/really reckless

i mean i guess punching reaper in the face counts, but heck even then reaper just confirms that he knows what jack’ll do every single time before he even does it. i think i just wanna see jack like, live up to that reputation a lot more than what we’ve seen so far. seein jack in his prime would be really cool. seein jack surprising people with stupid n reckless shit he pulled in the past would be really awesome- i wanna see the dude do something

IDK becoming a vigilante on his own to try and discover what happened to OW seems pretty reckless. Even Ana describes him as such. I think maybe his most reckless time was pre-Strike Commander, and he tempered when he became someone that had to be in charge of a lot and be a poster boy.

he mighta been a lot more reckless Back In The Day but imo so far all we’ve seen is him trying to figure out who he’s trying to be like, a Strategist or a dude that just runs in and does what needs to be done despite what the UN might say/do 

bein a poster boy for Overwatch might’ve tamed him quite a bit & coupled with the pressure of the world being like ‘we dont need Overwatch’ would definitely be a stresser, but Gabe sitting back and still managing to be a step ahead as far as getting shit done is like...i’m not seein any Recklessness herew jack, just a dude thats hesitating a lot despite his entire team saying they need to do something. ana and gabe can say hes reckless in lots of things but we haven’t really seen it yet. 

also with ana AND gabe saying they need to go in (despite gabe/blackwatch being under probation or w/e) and still jack insists that THEY stay back and let the new team/some of the old team in is what im assuming fucks those three over when the swiss base explodes

Quick thank you to @tmirai. Thank you for all the wonderful troll lore! First getting into troll rp, your headcanons and lore posts only fueled my passion for the race even more. Especially the language post! I used that as reference for a long time and I’m pretty sure I explained their origin a million times lol. I now have a huge novel full of your Trollin’ Thursdays, Headcanons and lore for my personal use and backup for your amazing project. We never really interacted besides when I watched you stream but you seem very nice and inspired a lot of my own headcanons and love for trolls as well as many others. Good luck!
