Aaaan here’s a second suggestion (been thinking about the point grey boys a lot lately): Donnie does NOT think of himself as the smart one?? And I am so fascinated by that fact. In his S2 arc, he claims that his knowledge is focused mostly on robotics, but we’ve seen him playing devil’s advocate towards Leo’s plans, lying skillfully to buy time, and constantly thinking critically about events playing out around him when none of his brothers do the same. I’m thinking he’s a lot smarter than he believes. We know most Donatellos are geniuses with interests across a variety of different scientific/mechanical fields. Maybe MM Donnie has the potential to grow into that type of character a bit more. 😈😈😈Thoughts?

You bring up a really good topic honestly, it’s a great one.

Like you said, aside from having a lot of knowledge in robotics, Donnie has also shown social awareness, critical thinking, and strategic intelligence. And if we really think about it, Donnie has had even to help Leo in situations that don’t involve technology lol

In Mutant Mayhem, Donnie had to take the initiative to ask where they were going while they were in the van (Thanks Leo lol)

On top of that, the entire final plan against Super Duper Fly was Donnie’s idea. Leo did give him a confidence boost, yeah, but Donnie was the one who actually came up with the plan.

We could say that this version of Donnie could absolutely be a leader, since his strategic intelligence might be on par with or even greater than Leo’s.

Donnie can be self-critical and doesn’t fully realize his true overall intelligence, because he has a personal perception of it that he sticks to until a situation forces him to think outside the box.

For him, robotics and technology are his domain, and math too (though even there he says it’s just “familiar” to it, according to Mutant Unleashed). Outside of that, he’s aware that he might be ineffective or not perform well, so in my opinion, he’s actually more cautious than he seems... And he's realistic tbh

In conclusion, Donnie's such a good character lol. He's the best.

Day 57 of waiting for TOTTMNT to get Uncanceled

POINT GREY TIMELINE PART 1

Following the results of the poll I made, I’m going to split the entire Point Grey TMNT chronology into parts… So let’s start with the story that began this iteration:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

(Disclaimer: even though I researched and analyzed a lot for this, I’m not immune to being wrong or to others having different interpretations, and that’s totally fine. I’m just trying to be as objective as possible within my own subjectivity.)

Alright, no more delay… LET’S GO. :D

Day 1. May 21

The events of Mutant Mayhem would start on Sunday, May 21, and last until roughly when the turtles were heading back to the lair.

When the turtles start stealing, it was 7:23 PM

and by the time it ended, it was 10:02 PM.

Even though the trip from Lower Manhattan to Brooklyn and back isn’t ridiculously long, it still takes some time, especially considering the turtles were going on foot

Day 2. May 22

Day 2 starts when the turtles return to the lair after watching the movie and ends when they agree to fight crime and become heroes

Although it’s implied that Day 2 starts while the turtles are heading back to the lair, when they’re talking in their room, the clock shows 2:54 AM, so technically the day has already begun

After the ice cream truck heist, the “accident” with April, the fight in the chop shop, and the conversation with April that follows, the turtles head back to the lair while talking. At that exact moment, it’s probably past midnight, since they also had to “go shopping” and are carrying bags on the way back

Either way, Day 2 definitely ends there.

(If there’s still any doubt about the end of Day 2, it’s still unlikely that the day didn’t end there, because in the next scene, when the turtles make a proposal to April, she’s in the subway without her scooter.)

Day 3. May 23

The day starts when the turtles begin walking to the lair after talking with April and lasts until the fight with Bald Bronson.

When April calls the turtles to Eastman High, the phone shows 2:34, whether AM or PM isn’t clear, but it’s most likely in the afternoon. Some time passes before the turtles leave for Eastman High to meet April and finally decide who to target based on her investigation

The first fight is against Bald Bronson, who immediately reveals that Normal Nate is the one the turtles are looking for.

(From this day on, I’ll count each turtle fight from the No Diggity scene as a separate day. Even though the locations are very close and they don’t leave Lower Manhattan, we can see April editing and publishing her school newspaper, as well as the turtles picking up clothes and other stuff, so I’ll treat them as separate days.)

Day 4. May 24

Fight with Normal Nate’s gang; he points the finger at Short Sharon.

Day 5. May 25

Fight with Short Sharon’s gang; she points the finger at Toupee Tom.

Day 6. May 26

Fight with Toupee Tom’s gang; he points the finger at Bad Bernie.

Day 7 – May 27

The day starts with the fight against Bad Bernie’s gang and lasts until the TCRI escape

By my calculations, the fight with Bad Bernie’s gang likely began early in the evening (around 7–8 PM), and the gap between that fight and the turtles’ arrival at the TCRI lab is quite long, I’d estimate that by the time they get there, it’s already past midnight

Day 8. May 28

The day starts with the turtles escaping from TCRI and ends with the defeat of Superfly.

That’s it :3

And now, here comes the tricky part... From this point, it’s unclear how many days passed before the turtles first day of school and the post-credits scenes, so I did some calculations

In day 3, Mikey mentioned that the improv tryouts wouldn’t start for another two weeks, so most likely he made it in time for the tryouts as soon as he started school with his brothers

Another factor is how long it takes the turtles to get admitted to Eastman High. But with enough teenage persistence, April’s help, NYC government support, and a bit of script magic (lol), I think the turtles were able to get in about a week and a few days after Superfly’s defeat.

Based on that, I consider June 7 as the turtles’ first day of school, 15 days after Mikey mentioned the tryouts and 10 days after Superfly’s defeat.

Day 17. June 7

The turtles finally fulfill their dream of going to high school and are warmly welcomed.

Day 18. June 8 to Day 19. June 9

The post-credits scenes take place during these two days.

Day 20 – June 10

This day in 2023 fell on a Saturday, which is a common day for prom parties according to my research (though Fridays could work too, whatever you think :3👇). This is when the short prom scene happens and we get the first glimpse of Shredder.

So, in conclusion

The events of TMNT Mutant Mayhem possibly lasted 20 days starting on May 21 and ending on June 10

Question !! Do yknow of the play theater in mutants unleashed is abandoned or not? I used to play th game (had to delete it for storage) and was up to that part where we have to fight mewbies on stage and such

I totally forgot if the theater was canonically closed/abandon or if it’s still up. Also— DOES IT HAVE A NAME ?? 🤔

Well if we’re talking about the theater in Uptown Manhattan, that place is REALLY abandoned, and it’s very likely just called the Uptown Theater, you could literally say the theater is in ruins

At the front, there’s graffiti, and its logo is far from elegant.

The theater’s infrastructure itself looks really damaged. The turtles could literally get in not just from the front, but also through a very noticeable spot on the second floor, the theater’s wallpaper is falling apart, and there’s a lot of mess everywhere

I don’t have the game, but I literally have a 10-hour gameplay downloaded, and I’ve watched it so many times that I know some parts by heart lol
