Here’s April O’Neil in my TMNT AU; TMNT STARCROSSED

I started with April because she and Casey are the only ones I’ve actually completed. I’ve been very wishy washy with my turtles, so that’s been great lol. But while I work on them why not post their first friend and human ally!

ℍ𝕠𝕨 𝕤𝕙𝕖 𝕞𝕖𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕥𝕦𝕣𝕥𝕝𝕖𝕤:
On her way home from buying groceries; April had something mysterious fall into her grocery bag from the rooftops— Along with a sudden bang in the alleyway. Looking around confused before she knew it, she was surrounded by street punks stating that she had disturbed them with her little stunt, even more confused as they began to mug her. But before they could harm her any further four mutated turtles jumped down from the rooftops and saved her! As any regular person would be she was horrified, but with a few assurances and an outstretched hand she took the hand before her and stood up. The turtles stated they were looking for medicine for their father and one of them decided to cause trouble. (Cough. Cough. Michelangelo) She offered to help buy it for them, inside the store a robbery was taking place! And she was captured, which involved a high speed pursuit from the turtles. As instead of street punks this time it was an organized crime group. After being saved again… The turtles brought her back home, thanking her and she thanking them. She handed them her number and they exchanged “If you need anything just call.” Forming an inseparable bond.

𝔹𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪:
Prior to her birth her parents had met at college where her mother, Carol had been studying to be a psychologist and her father, Kirby as a policeman. While they were in college they had owned an antique shop named: Second Time Around. Shortly after they both graduated college they had promptly fallen in love and had married eventually giving having; Ms. April Harriet O’Neil. Kirby had also started to notice Carol’s odd behavior as they started to wind down a bit. As Carol often left the young April alone and unattended to. He tried his best to keep April away from her as he learned of her true colors and the suspicious people she was working for. He had sent for divorce for Carol and had almost finalized it when she had died in a car accident. Kirby had promptly moved him and April to where they currently live. He met a young teenaged Irma who babysat April and soon a young Casey Jones and his family that moved in a few houses down and they became inseparable. They would all often go and visit her Aunt Mae in her farmhouse during summer months. Following Irma leaving for college and she and Casey growing apart, she often struggled to make friends as she looked for many distractions and ways to make friends and get by in school as she felt she never really fit in.
