NOTICE: Order Meeting, August 7, Round Group Para

Below is the order for the round para in the OOTP meeting, carrying on from the 7th to the 9th of August, or longer if wished.

EVENT: Order Meeting, August 7th

OUTLINE

Albus Dumbledore has called a meeting of the Order of the Phoenix. He is expected to leave at some point during the meeting to return to Hogwarts.

TIME FREEZE: The events begins now. Normal time will be frozen until August 9th, 12pm GMT.

EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS

All Order Members, possibly excluding Lily Potter and Alice Longbottom.

General alliance group directions below:

ORDER MEMBERS: Your character should attend the event if possible, but if you are unable to take part then please write a self-para or some kind of interaction explaining your absence. Open characters can be mentioned in passing, or left out if preferred.

DEATH EATERS: The meeting takes place unbeknownst to the Death Eaters, so none will be involved. However, once Albus Dumbledore leaves, we will begin the prophecy plotline.

NEUTRAL: No neutral characters are involved, allies of a side or not.

WHAT HAPPENS

The Order should make a plan for avenging Caradoc Dearborn, namely an attack on the Death Eaters

The meeting takes place at Order Headquarters, at 62 Woodfield Road, London.

At some point whilst this is still running, Dumbledore will leave and hear the prophecy regarding Voldemort and the child who will defeat him. Snape overhears this and tells Voldemort, but that will be played out seperately.

This event will be run as a round para. If you wish to participate, SEND A MESSAGE TO THE MAIN. If you do not want to do the para, you can do gifchats/one to one paras.

EVENT: Dedalus Diggle's 24th Birthday

OUTLINE

Dedalus Diggle, a well-loved member of the Order, is to celebrate his 24th birthday, coincidentally on the 24th of July, 1980. 

In light of the recent tragic death of a member of the Order of the Phoenix, Caradoc Dearborn, nobody feels much like celebrating. However, never being one to let terrible circumstances get him down, Dedalus decided to have not a party, but at least a gathering, for his nearest and dearest. 

The gathering goes unbeknownst to the eyes and ears of the Dark Side; quite luckily, as it surely would have been targeted due to the amount of Order Members present.

TIME FREEZE - For our players, this event will take begin at 12am on the 24th July, British Summer Time, and conclude at 12am on the 29th of July. We have installed a clock on the main RP, so all times we refer to will match that.

DE ALLY: The event is probably unknown to your character, so you will not be involved in this event.

WHAT HAPPENS

As there will be no attacks or Death Eater presence, the event if not expected to have any drastic results or consequences.

It is simply a gathering of friends and acquaintances of Dedalus Diggle.

The location is to be decided by Dedalus Diggle.

During the course of the event, the layout and occurrences of which are down to players, mainly Alix (Dedalus).

The general happenings will involve conversations, perhaps speeches, and interaction between characters. 

It is as much a celebration of Caradoc's life as Dedalus', because the group felt they should remember him somewhat.

Interaction can be done as gifchats towards the start of the event, but we would prefer if you could use mainly paragraphs as the event progresses.

                                          { THIS MEANS WAR }

Worlds are about to collide as war is declared against the l'Cies of Pulse. Joining forces, Cocoon's PSICOM and Gaia's SOLDIER are about to rid the lands of Gran Pulse from the l'Cie roaming it; the only hope of the l'Cies' salvation being Academy's intervention.

However, unbeknownst to PSICOM, it isn't just the Pulse l'Cie who are in danger of complete annihilation -- it's also the l'Cie of Cocoon which have fallen under the aim of SOLDIER. With alliances in question and innocent lives at stake, there's no telling what state either of these worlds will be left in once war dissipates -- if such a possibility even exists.

FFD Event #01:

Welcome to Final Fantasy Directory's first ever event! This event is centered around Cocoon and Gran Pulse, along with Gaia's SOLDIER being involved. Don't worry about not being able to take part in this event; we are planning two more events for Spira and Gaia to follow!

Main notes:

The PSICOM and SOLDIER divisions are teaming up against Pulse l’Cies.

Cocoon l'Cies aren't being targeted since their focuses can be used to PSICOM's advantage.

Unknown to PSICOM, SOLDIER also intends to exterminate the Cocoon l’Cies.

Cocoon l’Cies are aware of the war; Pulse l’Cies are not

Academy is helping the Pulse l’Cies.
