TnBChallenge - Favorite Todd and Blair Outfit When you are considering two gorgeous human beings, it should be tough to choose. Not the case with Roger, ahem,Todd. Mercy. He was wearing that suit within the last inch of the suits little life. Lucky suit. Easy choice. Kassie, okay Blair, was tough. Blair was always a snazzy dresser. I loved her more subtle looks though. The simple black sleeveless number she wore for Todd and Blair's anniversary of their first meeting was simply gorgeous. Classy. Funny observation, Blair would occasionally tip to tacky after "Todd" left in 2003. I'm so glad TnB are back as the fashion icons of Daytime.

Todd and Blair Shipping Challenge - Day 19 "Beauty and the Beast" (can I just say how the ^^^ pictures are so perfectly identified with each character? They even look like them!!!) - okay, let's get started... 'OLTL 1995' Addie: "Todd, wait. You're like the prince and the beast." Blair: "Mama, be nice." Todd: "No, it's okay. What are you talking about, Addie?" Addie: "The beast was ugly and mean-looking and then Beauty loved him and he turned into a prince. Don't you know any fairy tales?" Todd: "No, not really." Addie: "That's you. I thought you were scary and ugly but you're not. You love my beautiful girl and you'll never let anybody hurt her, will you?" Todd: "Never. And you're right about her being Beauty. She's the one beautiful thing in this ugly world." 'OLTL' 2001 Todd: "I can paint the entire ceiling of the penthouse any scene that you want." Starr: "Beauty and the Beast and you and mommy can pose for it." 'OLTL' 2011 Todd: "Belle looked at Beast and even though he was big and hairy and smelly and kinda ugly, she could tell that there was really something, deep down, really good about him. And so she fell in love with him... and that kind of love, Hope, that kind of love lasts forever." --- - so perfect AND let's just talk fairy tales for a second... 'OLTL' 2001 Todd: "Starr thinks that you love me." Blair: "I know. She's seven. She still believes in fairy tales." Todd: "So when do you outgrow a fairy tale?" 'OLTL' 2011 Blair: "I thought fairy tales were supposed to have happy endings." Todd: "Who says this one's over?" --- - can they be anymore perfect? Nope. These two tortured souls endlessly chasing their fairy tale in each-other. *sigh* They're just so tragically beautiful and so beautifully tragic. Anyway, I love how Beauty and the Beast is their parallel. Yes, TnB's, not another couple no matter how much they might wish it. That is TnB and this is the proof. Blair's love did transform Todd and the love that they have is too unique for the soap world, it's gotta be a fairy tale. Why? Because they are magic. Don't believe me? Just ask Erika Slezak.

Todd and Blair Shipping Challenge - Day 18 - No. Contest. Is there really any doubt? Max is the only rival to TnB that I've seen because he was the only other man besides Todd who had a hold on Blair and was the only man who really knew how to get to Todd and at times, outwit him. No to mention I adore all three characters. It really is a testament to James DePaiva how I could absolutely adore an ass like Max Holden even when he's coming between my two favourite characters and OTP. Max is an asshole. But a great asshole. Such a great character and largely part of the reason why 2000/2001 triangle and pregnancy with Todd/Blair/Max remains my all time favourite time period. I just can't get enough of the 3 of them. While I am not a fan of Blair and Max as a romantic pairing, I love them as rivals/sparring partners and Todd and Max? My 2nd favourite "pairing" of all time, 2nd only to the one and only TnB. I still hold out hope to see Max in the not-so-distant future and stir up trouble with TnB, because to me, there's nothing better than TnB angst at the hands of my favourite non-TnB character.

TnBChallenge- Day 12-Favorite Family Scene-Manning Christmas Card

All Todd Manning and Blair Cramer ever wanted was a family. They both grew up desperately alone, then Todd took a seat at the bar in Rodi’s, and neither one would ever be alone again. This scene is my favorite because it looks so natural. After everything they went through, the grin on Jack’s face tells the tale. Todd and Blair finally end up with their happy family. What a nice picture.
