Good afternoon students of Hogwarts! In light of the serious feelings that seem to be...hovering around the school as of late I, professor Arrowlight, have decided to make today much more interesting, and hopefully some of you will walk out of here with a new friend or two because of it. But I'm rambling.
Today's event is a silent auction, and the prizes are...the boys of Hogwarts! That's right. Any girl who would like to place a bet may, and whom ever has the highest bid will win the honor of having the young man be with her for the rest of the day!
Now, If I could have the boys report to the Great Hall we have things to prepare!

Just like she said professor Arrowlight is throwing a silent auction for the young men of Hogwarts. Those of you who sent in your character's wealth have been entered in to event. There are a few rule however that we would like to tell you before we begin.
The number you sent to the main (If you've forgotten, ask us.) is the number of pretend Galleons your character has to bet on the boy of her choice. Once you use them all you won't get any more.
We would like that ship partners not bid on each other, as we would like for people to branch out a little.
In order to bid for the guy of your choosing you must wait until a little blurb about them has been posted via the staff blog. Once their blurb is out you will have ten to fifteen minutes to send in your bids to the staff ask. We will post these asks for the duration of the time and whomever has the highest bid at the end of the ten minutes will win the boy's company for the day.
If a boy is not bid on in the ten or fifteen minutes he is available he will be shuffled back in and will make an appearance later in the line up again.
This event will continue until every boy has been bid on. If the person your character bid on is not on one hour after you've won the bid, then you are allowed to either bid again (With all of your money again.) or take your pick of the boys still left.
If you have any questions about the event or how it works please ask us. If you would still like to participate in the event please send the desired information to the main page. (Your character's wealth, male AND female, and we'll get you in the line up!) If you did not send in any information we will not put your character in the line up, and you won't be able to bid on a character.

The first blurb about a character will be posted at 12:30 CST.
