First of all, I want to thank you for sharing this to me. I see that you've put too much of your time and effort of making the summarized plot of the killer Francis and I truly appreciate the creativity there.
I love your head cannon on this au. While it has a pretty depressing backstory, it does give a lot of sense why he had done the gruesome murders. I like your ending where he eventually gets executed, sure its sad and there is nothing we can do to redeem after what he has done to the families he destroyed, but its very realistic, and its something that would happen in real life
Speaking of which, I actually have two more ideas for endings. Let's call yours the normal ending.
"Loved" ending: Similar to the normal ending, except Nacha is there to visit Francis during his execution. While he is waiting for the electric chair to start his demise, he saw Nacha from afar, all covered in black, tearing up on this sight. For the first time in forever, he smiled, because out of all the people who wishes him dead, there is one person like Nacha who genuinely cared for him. He will now die in peace.
"Euphoria" ending: On this one, the cops failed to catch the true culprit of the killings, and so with the lack of evidence, he was released scott free. He then would like to continue his crime to feel the something again, and if he comes across with Nacha again, he will make sure that she won't escape.
"Otherworld" ending: Cops saw Francis' lifeless body on his bed, and thought he committed suicide after seeing a bunch of drug injections all over him. Meanwhile in the 'another world', an entity called "Nightmare Clown" chose him as his playmate for his poker game and so he ordered his assistant "Chuckles" to overdose him, which became successful. Francis will be trapped in the Clown's world forever.
"Recruit" ending: Instead of cops showing up to arrest him, an unknown group of people kidnapped him. He was then forcefully taken to an abandoned hotel where he meets the mysterious ominous looking man, who is responsible for his abduction. Francis thought that the big guy will plan to torture him for being a murderer, but no. The big smiling guy had other better plans: he would like to hire Francis as his hitman/assassin. This unknown group is actually against the DDD and whoever government official dogs who work for them. They've learned that there are DDD people in his apartment building, so he chose Francis as his ally. He promised the milkman that he will pay him handsomely if he has done his job right, since he is more skillful in using knives and "cleaning" methods.
"Sure, you are a despicable human being, Mr. Mosses, but I want your crimes to be put in proper use." Says the guy, who prefers himself to be called, Mr. Dealer.
Francis accepts his offer.
