I heard that the music of Autumn's Hollow uses chiptune audio like Matt Wilson's Bonus Stage, so I decided to pull one of the chiptune creatures out of the making of the music, it was the silly BeepBox! I wanted him to say hello to D3NA.

When he saw the Ena, he laid his huge cuboid body on the ground and smiled... he began making guttural chiptune noises... the Ena couldn't stop laughing at BeepBox's 8-bit voice!

For the first time, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide ices have been observed in the far reaches of our solar system on trans-Neptunian objects (TNOs). A research team, led by planetary scientists Mário Nascimento De Prá and Noemí Pinilla-Alonso from the University of Central Florida's Florida Space Institute (FSI), made the findings by using the infrared spectral capabilities of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) to analyze the chemical composition of 59 trans-Neptunian objects and Centaurs. The pioneering study, published this week in Nature Astronomy, suggests that carbon dioxide ice was abundant in the cold outer regions of the protoplanetary disk, the vast rotating disk of gas and dust from which the solar system formed. Further investigation is needed to understand the carbon monoxide ice's origins, as it is also prevalent on the TNOs in the study.

Goodbye, Planet Nine! New And Better Data Disfavors A Giant World Beyond Neptune

“[T]he whole motivation that Batygin and Brown's theory relies on isn't that "these objects exist," but rather that "these objects exist and their clustering is very unlikely to happen just by chance." But the likelihood of what you see relies heavily on where you've observed and with what sensitivity you've made those observations. If you find clustered objects because you spent more of your observing time looking in the locations where you'd see clustering, that doesn't mean there's anything unusual. In fact, it's more likely, if that's the case, that there isn't anything unusual; it's more likely that you're the victim of a phenomenon called detection bias.”

Last year, scientists Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown made a huge splash when they announced that the Solar System likely contained a super-Earth-sized object beyond the orbit of Neptune. They dubbed the world ‘Planet Nine,’ and claimed that it was responsible for the orbits of the longest-period Trans-Neptunian Objects ever discovered. The fact that the orbits were clustered in both ecliptic latitude and longitude cried out for an explanation, and Planet Nine fit. But an additional world isn’t the only plausible cause of the clustering of these distant objects; another possibility is that the hitherto discovered objects were biased in some way. If you’re only searching for objects in the locations that would show you these correlations, then you’re going to find the correlations. The solution? To do a survey capable of distinguishing between whether the effect is solely due to bias, or the existence of Planet Nine.

The first comprehensive, four-year results from OSSOS are now in, and with eight candidate TNOs with the right properties, they don’t see any signature for Planet Nine. Looks like the evidence has gone up in smoke!

ESA’s Herschel space observatory has observed 132 of the known 1400 cold worlds that inhabit a region of the Solar System beyond the orbit of Neptune, some 4.5–7.5 billion km from the Sun.

These ‘trans-Neptunian objects’, or TNOs, include worlds such as Pluto, Eris, Haumea and Makemake, and make up a vast population of such objects thought to occupy these far-flung reaches of the Solar System.

TNOs are particularly cold, at around –230ºC, but these low temperatures lend themselves to observations by Herschel, which observes at far-infrared to sub-millimetre wavelengths. Indeed, the space observatory observed the thermal emission from 132 such objects during its nearly four-year lifetime.

The interior of her pocket dimension is a huge blue vortex referencing the splash logo of the Lycos Sonique audio player. When items or entities are inserted, they just float around like they're in space or underwater

She has the same softness just like @peepsnsneeps' Cinne! But with some differences that make her cuddlier and safer to hug.

Fun Facts! The differences are:

Came out of nowhere, meaning that she has no past at all and has known everything after replacing the mannequin Battery Fan rammed into during the alarmingly fast dive in the holy code ocean.

100% devoid of human traits (this means no human traits at all)

Strictly has no realistic human body parts at all.

Has storage system on the top of her torso like @firefoxartz01's ZENA due to her DNA being mixed with a small bit of the Celestoon DNA but the hole is a square. This makes her kind of a gun! She can suck things in her storage system like a vortex.

Default clothes are 100% digital and are the part of the body and can't be taken off or changed.

Her spiral-shaped earring-like stereo atmosphere sensors are based on the desktop icon of the Lycos Sonique audio player and they're a lot stronger than Cinne's, they resist tornados, hurricanes, cyclones, nor'easters, and extremely high or low temperatures.

Unlike Cinne's ability to soften her body when feeling comfortable, Iris can soften and harden her body at will. It doubles as protective armor for other creatures when 100% hard.

Iris is Aroace.

Iris' blue "Intelligent" side represents the left audio channel, and her red "Silly" side represents the right audio channel, referencing the red and blue colors from 4 default visualizations (Waveform 1.1, Spectrum 1.0, Spectrum 2.0, VU Sweep 2.2) from the Lycos Sonique audio player.

When Iris is used as a weapon, her ammunition will have Nerf gun darts for bullets and Nerf Vortex Mega Howler whistle rocket footballs for missiles. They launch out of her storage collar when shooting.

When "reloading", you pull on her leg that supports her torso and she'll teleport all launched items back in her storage system.

Her full name is Iris Storm, it references the eye of the storm.

Iris can hide like a turtle by putting her disconnected body parts in her storage collar.

Iris is able to keep people warm using her softness in cold tempratures.

Unlike the other soft ena, Cinne who makes a funny sulking noise that goes "Aaaaaaa-!" when squeezed or touched by people other than RENA, Iris just makes a funny face or let out a giggle when squeezed, meaning that she finds that being squished and cuddled is funny or silly. Sometimes, she cuddles back a long with making low buzzing noises.

Iris is able to mimic any sound 100% accurate but in a bit-crushed way. Her Intelligent side plays the left stereo audio channel and her Silly side plays the right stereo audio channel.

Iris is a digiluminescent ena. Not only she can glow under the UV light, she can glow at will like bioluminescent creatures including firefly beetles!

Iris is odorless. Odorless means no smell at all.

Iris can death-roll like leopard geckos, crocodiles, and alligators. She is strong enough to reel and pull appliances towards her by their power cords after unplugging them with her sidey's mouths.

Unlike Cinne's sensitive beat detection, Iris' beat detection is intelligent like the MilkDrop visualizations from Winamp/WACUP and can adjust her beat sensitivity at will. Thanks to her very strong earring-like spiral nubs.

Iris can loaf like a cat but partially no-clipping her limbs into her torso.

The comfiest spot to rest on Iris is the torso or lap. The torso seems to be a lot more comfier than the lap in Battery Fan's opinion since it's more like a pillow, a cushion, or a mattress for smaller creatures to rest on.

When you feed/give Iris Turrón, she will enter her Turrón-Rush form and go very crazy, referencing Mac going sugar rush in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. This means she 100% adores Turrón.

In her Turrón-Rush form, her skin is now green, her mouth is a waveform oscilloscope, and her eyes are CoR's Tornado visualizations that respond to her voice.

How I got Iris:

After I took down weird people while using BEENA, Sunny, and Spider-Mask as my weapons in the internet world, I meet Sonique and made friends with him. An internet user with breath-holding brainrot suddenly grabs me and throws me into a much larger body of water, FL Studio teleports me to the ocean void of holy code full of mannequins and glowing doors in the ENA Universe for safety upon touching the water. During the alarmingly fast dive, my fan housing rammed into a mannequin and after a minute, it suddenly warped into an out-of-nowhere Soft Ena named Iris. After my friends and my talking weapons who are inside of FL Studio talk with her through the telepathy system, we fell into the door that sends us to the TNOS Universe. I was proud that Iris joined BEENA, Sunny, and Spider-Mask and became a part of TNOS.

Also, here's Sonique. He was first meet in the internet world in my old home universe I was kicked out of. He became my phone.
