Deleted scenes from TNS are always from seasons that could've done more.
I think the most egregious example is S4's deleted scene of James and Piper. Both siblings are feeling down about the events of 4A, and to lift their spirits, they dance to Luther Brown's choreography from Season 2. The scene is so heartwarming and adds a lot more to the sibling dynamic, and it honestly baffles me as to why it was deleted. Like it couldn't replace a Ralfie scene or Nomanda or 0% Club or-
Season 8B was quite a downgrade from 8A and that's mainly because we don't feel connected to the new A-Troupe. Ebby's brief storyline of her being National Soloist started off strong with her desire to perform her Acro Fusion on the National stage. However, she's long forgotten about until Nationals were it was kinda half-assed. It would've been so much greater if these deleted scenes of Richelle and Ebby bonding over their solos were included in the season as it would've done so much for her character.
I would start by explaining Season 7's deleted scenes, but that whole season was toxic romances and character derailment.
My first Future!TNS-verse headcanon list-thing (it was future when I wrote it before Season 5; I just found it)
Despite Riley and Deborah pushing James to get his driver's license, he drives a lot less than they expect... his car's always in the garage for some reason??? And Emily somehow nearly always drives them eVERywhERe. Before and after uni (and then the studio when she swaps to distant learning - she's never letting her family down again), with Riley in the backseat next to Michelle, I mean come on, if she can drive her obnoxious future brother-in-law around she can drive with her obnoxious Co-Studio Head as well - she drops them off at university (James chose to major in psychology when he realised that communicating with other people had become one of the most important things in his life and he never wanted to be in danger of losing that, and surprisingly Riley chose Politics because Emily's not the only one in their family who learns from their mistakes, they're all fairly good at that) but sometimes she makes them take the bus home, because while she may have the "Team Mom" car (and James' torment about that term is endless) she d i d n o t sign up to hear about Schrodinger's Cat m'kay?
James now psychoanalyses some of the dancers while he waits for Piper and their Mom, Michelle's had to kick him out several times for scaring the J-Troupers "Freud said-" "James no!" "This is the stuff they don't teach them in school, James yes" "James if you don't stop talking about this I'm telling Emily." "James is no longer available please leave a message."
Emily may or may not be in on this threat - let's just say that a small portion of her wages goes to an Emergency "Freud's Ghost" fund. But Michelle's the one who deals with the parents so they'll deal with James her way...for now.
Daniel adopted a tiny mongrel that looked like a German Shepherd when he first got it, now it's grown-up no-one knows what it is for sure. "-it's a manifestation of your loneliness and inherent need to learn how to be reliable." "James shut up and eat your corn." "HA! Riley's the one who gets swayed by food-" "-Dude, you asked me to marry you the first time I gave you a shwarma OH MY it's on the cob!" "Wait Eldon are you crying?" "West you're here?" "Duh." "But why didn't I know?" "Well it's true, I could only hang with you or the dog, you or..." A healthy mongrel charges into the room and sits next to Daniel, pushing protectively into his side.
When the E-Girls accepted that neither Tiffany nor Chloe nor Giselle nor Stephanie were coming home for good, Riley created two Skype groups - one for the old A-Troupers, and one just for the E-Girls (yes, West included). Everyone ignores them and just goes on Snapchat.
By some miracle the E-Girls were all home the month before Christmas. Michelle was banned from speaking the phrase “Thanksgiving Miracle” for at least a year - no really, Emily paid for an art student to draw up a professional poster, got it photocopied, and hung one in every single room in the studio (two in the corridors). Michelle shrugged off every. Single. One.
Needless to say Emily was concerned.
Emily was right to be concerned... and reluctantly impressed at how many times Michelle could rattle off the term between the studio doors and the car.
now that i'm well over halfway through on my tns season 3 rewatch, i can safely say:
A list of TNS Villain AUs I’ve had stuck in my head, but haven’t written or drawn anything for (yet):
Michelle deciding she’s had enough of the E-Girls bullying her in season one and actually joining Elite when they catch her filming them.
Noah, sick of being treated like an outsider and overlooked by all of his “teammates”, helps Lucien with his plan at Internationals.
Another Noah one, but more of him being an antagonist than a villain, where he is so tired of TNS East and West, as-well of the treatment from Emily and Daniel, and believes none of them deserve to go to Regionals due to how they have all ruined the studio.
Alternate route of “It’s A wonderful Life, Piper”, where James doesn’t take his old friends and Riley back so easily after they all ditched him, and he instead starts his own team to take down TNS. (In this, Riley would stay as Studio-Head in season 5.)
Summer being the Mole in season 8 instead of Heath, due to all A-Troupe put her through in the previous year.
Heath’s plot in season 8 still surrounding around him being the Mole, but in this he doesn’t feel any remorse for what he did and happily joins Grace in on her plan when she offers him a spot at Elite.
Presley joining Ultra Elite after not making A-Troupe in season 8, and she betrays the team in season 9, instead of Ariana. She’d go further with the plan though, as she wouldn’t have someone like Jett.
Daisy being all in on Carly’s plan to beat TNS at The Brawl, and actually creating the plan herself, because of A-Troupe taking back Ariana and Grace despite what they did to her at the Internationals auditions.
