After being reminded that Sharpay's assistant's name in HSM3 is Tiara Gold, I now have to wonder if TeaAra Bling in TNS8 is a reference to that. Because they're just similar enough to make me question it.

I kind of hate that 8B makes me care about Heath. I didn't dislike him as a character but he was just kind of there and then they gave him the whole "I don't know if I'm good enough" arc and it hit me in my emotions and I have to feel bad for him.

Watching the A-Troupe party deleted scene again and I'm still irrationally excited about Maya and Grace entering holding hands Like That. I need more platonic intimacy, it's really freakin' adorable.

I love that there’s a dancer with a prosthetic limb. I love that it wasn’t brought up, it was just a thing about her

I also just love that over half the episode titles for 8.0 are Broadway/Musical song titles. Whoever was in charge of naming is almost definitely a theater kid and I love them

Mayhaps it’s because I’m randomly extremely wired, but so far this episode is so funny.

Now that I’m actually paying attention to the song titles for the 8.5 soundtrack a surprisingly high number of them have time references

Some thoughts based on the season 8 trailer.

There’s only 9 of them in the A-Troupe line at the end but it seems like Kingston, Kenzie, and Finn are all leaving which means 4 B-Troupers are coming up. Likely Cleo, Izzy, Ethan, Jude, or Pete, possibly all of them with someone as an alternate.

I’m also pretty sure that Nick is going to hold auditions for A-Troupe/the Nationals Team since it’s been so long (/ref the off season).

And it also seems like a lot of the current relationships are going to face problems, but that’s pretty much a given. It seems like no couple on this show lasts an entire season without some sort of drama.
