i think i already made a post on here abt how the 'neil is so oblivious' thing annoys me, so adding on to that: if you Actually want to play with neil not picking up on flirting, he doesnt miss signals he misinterprets them. he would definitely pick up on it if someone was paying extra attention to him (hyper vigilance babyy) but he would jump to 'theyre after me' or maybe 'they want something from me', because those are the signals he trained to pick up and when youre holding a hammer everything looks like a nail. on that note, i think the second neil realises that attraction is a possible motivator in that person, he becomes very good at spotting it. anyway a barista writes her number on his coffee cup and neil is like Shes Trying To Tell Me Something. She Has Information For Me. She Is A Spy. This Is A Covert Operation. and andrew is like she thinks youre hot and wants you to call her and neil is like ohhhhh ok thats fine then. no :)
