I'm giving a shout out to my wonderful partner, M, who quietly asked me out the other day. While we haven't been on a proper date (and are still figuring out some logistics), the days since have been wonderful and others have been encouraging. Not exactly a system shout out, but more a shout out to our singlet partner of 12 years who's been through this plural journey with us since we even entertained the idea of being a system.
Shes seen us discover our system, struggle with gender because of it, go from therapist to therapist, be there when we developed our first little and fictive, and taking everything with such stride and grace. I couldn't ask for a better partner she'll never understand how much I appreciate her sticking with me through everything and not leaving at the first sign of cr*zy.
