Yesterday, March 11th 2019, a box arrived. The contents revealed to be a happy, bumbling Budsie named Toadly!

“Don’t need help? Then who’s gonna turn you back into a grownup?” Toadly replied, letting their grip loosen, “A staff this small wont have enough magic to turn you back.” They pick up the little rattle and hold it in front of the tiny Ripto.

“Its in your best interest to come with me where I can keep you safe, I’ll send for a Magic Crafter I know and maybe we can get you turned back.”

“When’s the last time you ate, anyways?”

Toadly went shopping for snacks and such before the big blizzard!

The day after the blizzard, Toadly went out for a bit! Brrr!!

Yesterday, Toadly got a new pair of overalls made! But theyre arent quite done yet!!

Toadly's adventures this past week have been fun and wild!

Toadly wiggled around underwater, kicking their webbed feet and waving their webbed tail about as they scooted along the bottom, rubbing their nose about, looking for a nice warm spot to settle in. The water wasn’t particularly deep, and because of that, their tail and feet splashed out every now and then. 

Once a warm spot, lit by sunlight, was found, the amphibious dragon settled into the spot and smiled. Nothing nicer than that! And then a shadow came across the sunny spot. Looking up, Toadly spotted a massive blue reptile, and quickly swam into the farther corner.

“Its always going to be dangerous out there.” Echoed the words of the artisans who warned against Toadly leaving the Dragon Homelands. Maybe this was yet another reason to put in their book. The amphibian wiggled into the bottom of the pond as much as they could, despite it not being adequately murky, and then held completely still.

This tactic worked for most predators, though they weren’t sure if this creature could see color. If so, then a pink and yellow shape at the bottom of the pond wouldn’t be hard to see.

   Toadly hasn’t been here before, these lands are pretty foreign to the amphibian, and the dryness of the area makes them itch. All the surrounding lava makes it quite uncomfortable for the water-dwelling dragon as they look around at the inhabitants of this land.

There’s all sorts of creatures they’ve never seen before. All Toadly knows is that Alban told them that the land they were in was called “Avalar”. At this point the yellow dragon begins to regret their decision to walk all the way back to the Forgotten Worlds, they’ve gotten lost a total of fourteen times while trying to make it there.

Waddling along distractedly, they don’t see where they’re going until they feel the heat underfoot and look forward to see a large expanse of lava in their path.

“Well.. Thats toasty..”
