The taste follows the nose. It's quite sweet, with only a hint of bitterness. The malts are sweet, toasty and and fruity. There's lots of rich, deep woody, oaky flavours from the combination of lightly toasted oak, and fired heartwood American oak, with notes of caramel, toffee, vanilla, spices and camp fire. It has a medium body, a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, and a rich, full warming flavour.
