soooo I heard you were looking for folksy music by women? Kimye dawson is excellent and so is the french band antsy pants, also the weepies is good, but it's a girl guy pair, some of them are mostly the girl though. Idk if that's what you're looking for, but they're all pretty good and folksy

anyway. kimya and antsy pants aren't really what i was thinking of for the folksy i want. but i'll check them out. i've heard their songs on the juno soundtrack but that's probably it. thanks for the suggestions!
