Jeder verheiratete Mann oder der Kopf der Familie ist angebracht ein Schaf oder ein anderes passendes Tier für das Fest zu kaufen. Während der Opferung (Schlachtung) kommt ein scharfes Messer zum Einsatz und der Name Allahs wird gerufen.

Each married man or patriarch is exptected to buy a sheep or another appropriate animal for the celebration. During the devotement they use a sharp knife and shout the name of Allah.
