I had a lawyer friend almost shoot himself recently. The only thing that stopped him is that Wal-Mart wouldn't sell him ammo. It's a damn shame how they treat lawyers.
it’s incredibly dishearteningand it is something that is being addressed more, I know my school now has drop-in counseling every week, orientation includes resources to keep in mind, etc
but that does very little to wave away the uncertainty of what will... bar you from being admitted to the bar. what’ are “approved” struggles vs too problematic for practice. i mean fuck, you have to disclose the pettiest little things from your past and stress that you committed some minor crime of moral turpitude in high school. so, of course, you are going to stress about the things that are current and persisting things you’ll have to deal with as you practice.
