Severus sat alone on a bench, flipping through the new book he had just purchased. He was struggling to concentrate on the words, he kept getting distracting my the revelry around him. Hogsmeade was a time that his classmates looked forward to, marked on their calendar, talked about for weeks. For him it was just a reminder that he was alone, the only thing he could look forward to was a new book.
He was busy scowling at a couple across the street, wrapped in each other’s arms. He felt a mixture of disgust and jealousy, it was like watching a horrible accident. He should look away but he couldn’t. He only pulled his attention away when he felt the old bench he was sitting on shift from someone else’s weight. Why was Tobias Travers joining him?
“Can I help you?” He drawled, a brow arching.
