Toby the Imp Inventor
He built himself wings so he could reach things that were higher up in his workshop because he always wound up working for/with taller demons that would always leave things on top shelves/spaces he couldn't reach.
He is not a great inventor and has quite a lot of trouble getting anything to not blow up or break (hence the scars on his lower face and burn holes in his clothes). His wings are the only thing he has managed to actually get to work and they still stall out on occasion.
He's clumsy but he is ambitious and determined. He can have an invention blow up in his face and go right back to building it because he thinks he found the problem.
He went to work for Wally because he was hiring inventors and he figured he could learn from the other inventors he hired. Problem was, the other inventors didn't want to bother with him because he's a walking disaster.
