Camille Foster and the Endless Breadsticks [RPG Maker VX Ace] 

Camille Foster and the Endless Breadsticks is a puzzle/adventure game with some horror elements made in RPG Maker VX Ace. 

Join our lovely protagonist, Camille Foster (aka Kazuko Yonagine), her friend Toby Osbourne, and her rival Galvan Ize as they search for their friend Caeles, try to reverse the not-so-well-thought-out wishes he granted them, and cope with the endless sea of breadsticks that is now trapping them inside their house.

I tried to get a demo of this game out by December 29th (Kazuko's 5th anniversary), but I think it was worth it to spend a little more time making sure everything works! I've been working on this on and off since this summer, and it's been a lot of work figuring out how to use RPG Maker, writing all the dialogue and the music (there are still a couple default placeholder tracks in there I want to replace in the full version) but it's been a lot of fun so far! The demo ends at about the halfway point of the game.

Special thanks to Steel for doing a ton of really amazing character art (the title screen, all of the face icons, and a few other surprise things), bouncing around ideas with me, beta testing, putting together this video, and of course letting me borrow Galvan and Caeles. 

By the way, this takes place in the same universe as Steel's webcomic [ESC] which you should definitely check out if you haven't already. Also check out this really nice cover he made for Kazuko's 5th anniversary ;)

It's hard to believe Kazuko is 5 years old now that's like... half a decade... thank you to everyone who's supported her for all these years :') It really means a lot! I hope you guys enjoy this game!

Kazuko mah bab

Kazuko: Unfortunately, she suffers from pretty much every pronunciation problem on this list, the biggest issue being with the vowels. She has a womanly tone but isnt too deep and thats great, plus quality is fine. her great voice p much saved her bank. 

Toby: Suffers from the forced deepness problem, but its not the worst i’ve heard with it. Sounds bit nasal at times, mostly with his ‘a’ sounds. and like Kazuko, has a lot pronunciation issues, except his ‘r’ sounds. those are fine. Has a nice soft tone and quality is good. Overall, the voice is p average. nothing really stands out.

Design: Kazuko’s is rather plain, but its recognizable so no real issues with it i suppose. Toby has a really stylish design so i love. 

Overall: Pronunciation issues rly need to be addressed, but other then that, they have nice tones (though toby has the deepness problem) and high quality.
