Summary: (Action/comedy with some drama and lots of brotherly feels) Dean thinks he's saved when he sees the car idling at the red light. He's exhausted from running and soon the cop cars will turn the corner and catch up to him. He needs the money he stole to bail out Sam, not get thrown in jail himself. So he does what any sane person would do. He rips the car door open, throws himself into the passenger seat, points his gun at the driver and yells "Drive!" The driver, a suit wearing, preppy corporate douchewad, reacts as if he's done nothing more than wave a candy cane around. Maybe if Dean had paid attention, he'd have seen it as the first sign that something’s wrong.

By the time Dean figures out that he might have gone out of the ashes into the fire, it's too late. He finds himself being coerced into doing a job for Lucifer, who can only be mafia, with Sam's life hanging in the balance. Then there's the other challenge - trying NOT to fall in love with Lucifer's brother Castiel that they pick up along the way. Honestly, Dean's not sure which challenge is the hardest...

Notes: OMG. I freaking loved this story!!! It had my emotions all over the place. One moment I was laughing at something Lucifer said and the next I was feeling concern and angst over Dean’s past. I just loved everything about this story. Castiel’s characterization in this story made me so happy and made me fall in love with him again and again from the moment he blushed like a virgin to the moment he took someone out without batting an eye. It was great. The relationship between Castiel and Lucifer was awesome!! And the relationship that slowly forms between Lucifer and Dean was surprising and lovely as well and at many times made me hysterically laugh. I laughed so much during this story it truly was an action comedy. I was a bit worried about the Lucifer/Sam but it’s only hinted at until the very end and it didn’t bother me even though I don’t normally like that ship. Lucifer is actually pretty awesome in this story so for Sam and him to fall in love was actually kinda cute. And of course there’s a happy ending that involved Dean and Castiel falling for each other. :) Also, there’s some awesome art that goes along with this fic that I thought was super cool.

Notes: This story is so great!! I loved how I seriously could not put this story down until I’d read the entire thing. It’s a longer story which means you get to savor it longer. ;) I love detective AU’s but sometimes I have a hard time really getting into them and Desirae does a great job of explain everything in a way that really helps you immerse yourself in the story. You’re gonna love the dynamic between Castiel and Dean and at times you’re probably gonna wanna slap Cas and tell him to grow a pair and angel up! Haha. (At least I did!) seeing Dean so sappy is so great and made me all warm and fuzzy. There’s also some incredible art that goes along with this story that is soooooo amazing!!! Also, I just found out that there’s gonna be a sequel soon!!! Squeal!!! Go read this awesome story and tell me what you think.

They deal with each other’s families and friends and slowly fall for the other without the other knowing. So much pining. It’s great!!

Notes: I absolutely loved this story!! It was so fun seeing retired hunter Dean in all of his domestic bliss only for him to come out of retirement when his boyfriend needed him. Badass Cas is almost amazing and I loved seeing that side of him in this. This story is filled with action along with adorable fluffy relationship moments. Plus it’s filled with some amazing art as an added bonus! Make sure you leave ireadhpinenochian lots of love with kudos and comments!!

And who doesn’t love a good vampire falling for a human story?? I loved seeing modern day vampires and how vampires get by in modern time where they don’t have to slink around in alleyways looking to drain people. Super great read!
