HOW DO YOU TAKE SUCH CLEAN AND NICE PICTURES OF YOUR ART ON PAPER??? 😭😭
Tutorial time.
Remember to take a picture in natural lighting if you can. I use my iphone to edit so I'll be explaining that process.
For Lineart and Pen drawings.
Open your photo editor, select the noir filter, then adjust brightness, contrast, shadow, and black point to your taste. You can also just select "auto" and the program will decide what it thinks your art needs adjustment on
Then you can compare your original drawing to the edited version by tapping on the actual image (not the editing icons) with your finger. This allows you to compare the editing to the cropped original without having to permanently revert your changes or make a copy. Very useful!
For Pencil Sketches.
Same deal as the pen sketches except you will select "mono" instead of the noir filter. This keeps the gray look of the lines. If you overdo the black point in editing, then your mistakes you erased will show up more clearly, as will any smudging on the paper. It won' t look very good.
