Epic compliment. She’s a central character in Arthurian literature/legends, King Arthur’s sister. My favorite character of all time in The Mists of Avalon. :)
Aha I was being a sarcastic brat. She's my favorite character at the moment. <3 (I really do need to read The Mists of Avalon though.)

We could not be more alike, it’s scary. Literally the ONLY one I’m not absolutely in love with is number 7 and that’s because I’ve never read that hahaha. Love seeing the lesser talked about ones, 3, 4, and 10 :)
Yay, this makes me happy! :)
I believe that we had a discussion quite a while back (years, even?) about our similar tastes in books and characters!
beneaththelights tagged me in this lovely Book Challenge. I don't typically do a lot of personal posts, but Caitlin is one of the few people who I connected with and follow her blog on more than just purely aesthetic -- and I just loved her list! (I would tag you Lauren, tocamelot, but of course, you're already ALL over it! haha)
Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you.
1. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, JK Rowling 2. The Amber Spyglass, Philip Pullman 3. The Snow Child, Eowyn Ivey 4. Time For Andrew: A Ghost Story, Mary Downing Hahn 5. A Great and Terrible Beauty, Libba Bray 6. Never Let Me Go, Kazuo Ishiguro 7. Abarat, Clive Barker 8. The Last Battle, CS Lewis 9. A Separate Peace, John Knowles 10. Sirena, Donna Jo Napoli

Exciting! I’ll help, since I have to remove 50% of the crap lmao.
Haha mom told me to ask you what you need and don't need. I can't wait to go through all of this stuff from when you were in high school.

Hahah I noticed that too. But how lucky are we? Very.
I changed my theme and added an "About Me" page with a ton of pictures. So...check it out.
Of all the art blogs I follow, your archive is by far the most fluid, harmonious, cohesive collection I regularly get lost in. Too much beauty :)
Thank you very much, thank you for this kind message! I’m glad that you get lost in it! It’s my purpose to post mostly paintings from the 19th century and early 20th century (and sometimes from the 17th and 18th centuries), trying to avoid too much experimental or innovative works; maybe that’s why my archive leaves the impression that it is so harmonious.
And I like your blog as well, the photos of your travels are amazing! =]
